Please educate your bartenders on how to identify legal forms of ID. My friend is a sweetheart and would never leave a bad review but she was humiliated tonight because the bartender was unable to identify a valid ID and called the cops on her. After about a half hour, cops came to verify that her ID was in fact legitimate. She was embarrassed while her ID was held hostage and made to feel like she had done something wrong when she didn’t. I understand the need to check IDs but a bartender should be able to realize a valid ID without getting police involved an embarrassing a polite customer. She’d never voice it out loud but it was a very embarrassing experience for her that could have been avoided with education for the bartender in duty. Paying customers don’t appreciate having cops called on them!
Went there yesterday and it was closed so ??? Why.

If you like old school dive bars, this is the place for you. Cool atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Great drinks. No need to improve the food. Although it's not 5 star food, it's the best they can do with no room for a real kitchen. Overall Wixom Bar is perfect.

Great atmosphere, nice friendly people, good and fair prices on bar food. And good pool shooters if that’s your thing.

Walked in a multiple people smoking cigarettes. I guess I wouldn’t care if I smoked, but turned around and left. Looked like a cool spot but, couldn’t handle the smoke.
If you're looking for a small town dive bar, look no further. Tiny building, decor not updated since the late '70s, crooked pictures of people you don't know on the wall, politically conservative catch phrases printed and hung up in random places, rough and tumble regulars.
You'll pay about 40% less for a drink versus other more upscale places.

This is the greatest bar I've ever been to. Come here. Pam is the single most attractive, talented, personable bartender I've ever in all 40 years of my international travels including cancan. If you don't here you are an idiot. Come to this bar.

Smallish neighborhood bar with friendly staff and a good menu. Drinks are strong and reasonably priced. Pool table. There is a patio in the back featuring tables with awnings, and plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. Daily food specials, and plenty of personality, atmosphere and everything else you look for in an old school place like this. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

I highly recommend this bar. It's the best hole in the wall dive bar around. The women who work there aren't bad to look at either. The building itself is historical
