“After wanting to try this place for a long time, Finally got into town to try it. Unfortunately, They were busy and we were informed a wait of 10 minutes would be needed for seating. After waiting 25 minutes we decided to move on since our show was to start. No big deal , so we informed the hostess and she gave us a flippant (BYE!) , This being the same girl when we asked if something was on the menu said " I don't know". Couldn't be bothered to look. I gave 5 stars, Didn't want this to reflect negatively on RP's, Just the little brunette girls at the doors. Maybe next time we are in town we will try again.“

“First time dining at Cork and Gabel for a date night and it was an amazing experience that made us feel like we were the only ones there in the middle of a packed restaurant. We loved the decor/design and menu - and our experience chatting with the staff member, Rick. We got to order a custom drink and had the bartender personally bring it to me. It was all so delicious. “Meet a couple of friends for a brunch meeting. Brioche French Toast was delicious. Chicken link sausage was absolutely one of the best things I've ever had. The server was knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. One thing we needed was WiFi, which Bob Evans did not have.Parking: Found a spot easily“

“I loved our experience at this restaurant, very unique and quality menu! I ordered the Grilled Tuna, had to send it back because it was overdone, but they were on it no problem and brought out a whole new plate asap and offered me something extra to tie me over! The meal was awesome! ?“

“Always great food and service. It’s my dad’s favorite “watering hole”, as he calls it, so we take him there every year for his birthday. Every time we go, our server is absolutely tremendous and “caters” to the whole birthday thing as well. Their BBQ sauce is very tasty. I personally like their Sweet and Zesty. Can’t go wrong!!“

“Gus's has the best chicken in Detroit and it's not particularly close. I feel like it has almost become underrated with time, but it still holds up.Gus's is one of the only places where I enjoy White meat. The chicken is that juicy. The collard greens are also awesome. This chicken isn't at all like the standard fare around town. It's got a unique batter and taste that I've yet to find anywhere else.The staff is incredibly nice and your food comes out promptly with any sort of modifications you want.Again, there have been a lot of new options for food that have popped up around Midtown. Gus's is still one of the best around and needs to be checked out. Best chicken in Detroit“
