First time here! When you hear about little bars or restaurants off the beaten path that have great food, Franks Cafe is the place. We squeezed in to the last two available seats at the bar today (Fish fry Friday) and ordered the walleye and the perch. The wait for it was a little long but holy moly, well worth the wait! The owner was in constant motion at the fryers working his butt off as were the wait staff and bartenders too. I’ve had fish all over the downriver area and...
Havent been here since the 1990s and the line use to be around the building came back last Friday in 2026 whole new menu of course lol. But with everything up to date food is still good
The food was awesome great flavor. Frank the cook was over his head with orders but was putting out plates of awesome food. Definitely would recommend on Fridays if you show up early no wait but show up late I could be standing room only. Wait staff was busting there buts off. Turning tables as fast as they opened up
