First time trying Frank’s. My wife looked up places to try for good walleye and it came up so figured, why not? A little frustrating trying to find it initially, but we’re glad we did! Food was excellent. My wife had the walleye and said that it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. I had the catfish and loved it. Breading wasn’t heavy so you could taste the fish and the hush puppies were devoured quickly they were that good....
First time here! When you hear about little bars or restaurants off the beaten path that have great food, Franks Cafe is the place. We squeezed in to the last two available seats at the bar today (Fish fry Friday) and ordered the walleye and the perch. The wait for it was a little long but holy moly, well worth the wait! The owner was in constant motion at the fryers working his butt off as were the wait staff and bartenders too. I’ve had fish all over the downriver area and...
Havent been here since the 1990s and the line use to be around the building came back last Friday in 2026 whole new menu of course lol. But with everything up to date food is still good
