Such a fun place to visit!!!

I learned of this place through gift certificates I received as a prize in a costume contest last October and just got around to checking it out. I am so glad I did!

Walk-ins are welcome, so I did, without knowing what to expect. I was greeted by the wine tender(??), as well as the handful of friendly patrons already there. I opted for a 6 sample tasting ($10. Are you kidding me?? Would easily have paid $15 without batting an eye!)

I let that wine tender, Heather, make selections for me, and she did a fantastic job of taking me through their different flavors and concoctions. Everything was damn good! So much so that I did a second 6 sample tasting! ? The Slow Juke Joint (Blackberry wine and lemonade) and Mule (Cherry wine, ginger beer, lime) drinks stood out above the others for me, but all 12 were fantastic!

I tried the majority of what they had and was not disappointed! I'm already planning a return visit where I will be taking bottles home with me, which wasn't feasible with the dynamics of this first visit. The friendly, welcoming vibe is as much a reason to return as the great service and fantastic wines! They're very inclusive, had the place decked out for Pride Month, and had just a great, homey, Bohemian feel.

Been coming here for years and even though we moved out of state we stop in every time we come back to town to visit to do a tasting and restock on a bottle. We were looking forward to visiting today and upon walking in we received the rudest costumer service I’ve ever experienced and unfortunately had to leave. The person working stated that they spoke to us this way because they “hadn’t been our bartender before”. I’m honestly not sure what warranted that type of attitude but hopefully it was just an off day and not the way you generally greet customers. Still a great local business with good wine but will not be returning.

This was an awesome experience. I came here with my Daughter in Law and Heather was knowledgeable and personable and entertaining. She recommended the order in which we should taste test our wines which led to us purchasing a couple of bottles. We will be back.

A different kind of review: We were in downtown Wyandotte and my 3 year old had a bathroom emergency. A lot of places do not have public bathrooms. I peaked in and informed them of our situation and the staff was SO friendly and completely defused a very stressful situation just by letting us use their facilities. We will DEFINITELY be back as customers. Every mother, or any parent knows what a catastrophe we could have had on our hands. I highly encourage everyone to give them some business!!

Kim and Heather are the absolute best, I have been here a number of times and will continue to come here because of them. They make it an enjoyable experience that makes you want to come back again and again.

Absolutely top notch customer service and best wine downriver! So excited we found this place!!!! Highly recommended!

The wine is amazing, and the owner Heather Wright has a fun bubbly personality, the atmosphere is comfortable... mix the wines, you won't regret it!
