“Grand Rapids Top Place for a perfect steak! They never fail to impress with their exceptional tastes. Listening to Frank Sinatra, enjoying a drink, eating my steak, dimmed lighting, is a definition of a perfect night... drinks took a little long, at first, but it's not a big deal when the food and ambience is top tier.“
“An excellent anniversary or fine dining experience to go to. The drink selection has a perfect amount of whiskeys to try but their scotch selection needs a few more, I suggest Highland Park, ?. But I the steak and fish selection is great and you can go back multiple times to try out different steak and sauce varieties. Bonus points to the restaurant for having mocktails for my wife who can't drink right now. She loved them. One reason why we choose Chop House for our ten year anniversary. The blt salad was a perfect app. The scallop potatoes were amazing, the asparagus was great and the anniversary dark chocolate and strawberrys was a nice touch. We got dessert to go and we should have gotten two of the carrot cake desserts. Worth going back just for that.Outside of suggesting to always get a sauce with your steak, everything else was great.Vegetarian options: The salad we had was great so doubt you will have issues with finding something good.Dietary restrictions: My wife got mocktails and they weren't crap like other places.Parking: Paid parking lot is behind the building.Kid-friendliness: This is a fine dining place. Well behaved kids only.Wheelchair accessibility: Main floor is on the street level. I believe they have an elevator there for access to down stairs.“
“We went on a week day afternoon. Not very many people so the music was extremely loud. They don't adjust their music level to fit the ambient noise. Was nervous how the food would be because the blooming onion was over cooked to the point only my husband ate any of it. The house salad was nice but very wet lettuce. The Alice Chicken and the Steak were cooked perfectly. Waitress was great. She was very attentive but only came when needed. We don't live in the area but we possibly would eat there again after trying other local places first.“
“Went there for dinner tonight. Did the waitlist on the App, got there and were seated pretty much right away even though super busy. Everything was great from the rolls to dinner, and prices are affordable. Had Sarah as our server and she was Great! Highly recommend.“
“The food was outstanding. We had an absolutely wonderful waitress (Stormy) who was a perfect fit for our fun loving group of nine. The manager even stopped by to see how our evening was going. We couldn't have had a better experience for celebrating my wife's Birthday. My wife and I think they have the best brussell sprout appitizer in town.“
“Dominique on 28th street. That's the server to get. She went above and beyond, consistently checking in on us, the drink was made light like real light at first which she immediately offered remediation in no charge on the first drink. She even just sat and chat with us. 20/10 made our night. She was $45 tip worthy if that says anything.“
“We come here all the time. This was the worst experience!!!! The two women servers were rolling their eyes at us that worked the bar. We had to ask for plates, water and I never got it at all! Napkins silverware!!!!! This is their damn job!!!! The wait was long but that’s not the problem because life happens! I watched one of the girls looking at messages on her damn phone!!!! The manager Alex was cool to us. He let me vent and listened. To watch those brats roll their eyes made me so damn disgusted!!!!!! The food sucked! I never want to go back!!!!! I’m reporting those brats to corporate!!!!“
“Came in between lunch and dinner hours with two toddlers. Waitress was attentive, food was great for the price. But, what really impressed me was the kindness shown by the staff to my children who gave them each a stuffed animal and some tokens for the crane game. A+“
