Was told it would be a 40 min wait. Waited 45-50 min for my order. Got home Borh meals had black eyed peas and they were sour, that means they weren't any good. Please test taste your foid before serving/saleing. The meatloaf was horrible matter of fact everything was nasty due to the spoilage taste from the beans. I called and left a message about my food so now I'm leaving my review. $35 spent in the trash

Food was disgusting !
Mac tasted like it had dressing made with it.
Canned greens!
Yams were ok
Rib tips old and spoiled with fresh bbq sauce
27$ wasted!

Food was good, but the wait was long and the owner was very forgetful and drunk 2 out the 3 times I went.

It was my first time tasting their food. I purchased two dinners and both my daughter and I truly enjoyed them. Nice to meet the owner btw.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. Oh he has two original Arcades available bring quarters to play while you wait,😃

TERRIBLE RUDE service. when I tried calling in order they told me Its walk in only, when I went in to order, they told me it'll be 45-hour wait AFTER I paid. After I waited over 45 food wasn't done so I asked for refund, when I was telling owner what happened he was very rude & cutting me off saying "yeah okay okay okay". Can't support the ones we want to. SMH

Best soul food I've had in a long time, best in Ypsi! The person work there is very thoughtful, and also very busy making all the food. So the kitchen can get loud with all the cooking, and it may take a little bit of time to get your order, but this is a soul food place, not a fast food place, and the food makes up tenfold. Delicious!

Went for the First time Walked in Very Nice and Clean Placed a Order, While waiting had the pleasure of playing pac man After receiving my food Went home and ate It was Delicious Still hot Great job

Food is excellent! Had the rib tips as he was out of the bones. Tips were the best I've ever tasted. Tender and moist seasoned perfect. Can't wait to try the ribs. Had the sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. Both were really amazing. Definitely made from scratch, no canned anything on my plate.
