Great tasting food but rather pricy. $14 for a waffle or $16 for pancakes is pretty crazy. The biscuits and gravy are very good though and what I get each time because of the prices of the other options

Took my mother out to lunch. She is happy because she finally found a place that makes fries the way she likes them.
The waitress was nice. She was attentive without being a pain and she asked smart questions that I haven't heard other places ask. (For example, when we were getting boxes for our leftovers, she asked if we were going to the same house. We were not and the awareness to ask was appreciated.)

When you find yourself in Yipsi north of depot town and your hungry and want some good food American Grille is the place, good atmosphere an price is very reasonable on par with other diners and grills. I'm a breakfast person early morning so their Hippie hash was amazing i would have it again.
