my handsome boyfriend took me here before our roadtrip up north, we got the jasmine tea with honey and the pastry thats like a bagel but it isnt. so delicious. im still thinking about it.

The staff was especially nice. The bread for my ham and cheese sandwich was good. The mayo could have been more flavorful, but I'm glad there was a sauce of some kind. I will be back for more coffee and to try other menu items. Thanks to the Ypsilanti District Library, too, for the gift card. I had been meaning to try Bird Dog Baking for a long time, and the gift card finally got my butt in gear to get there. And of course, I spent more than the gift card as a thank you...

If there were a Michelin guide for bakeries, this would be a three-star. On the drive home, the car filled with the deep, toasty aroma of Maillard-browned crust, I couldn’t even wait and ended up tearing into the baguette right there. Simply the best bakery.
