The customer service was amazing. The restaurant seemed cleaned and inviting (we did take out though). The portion sizes are good. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the taste of my sides and I got 4 😩 Everything needed more seasoning and just lacked flavor. The candied yams weren't bad, but the green beans, mac & cheese, and cabbage left a lot to be desired for what we paid. I won't be returning.

Definitely recommend this place to anyone, someone recommended this to us as one of the best soul food restaurants around. It did not disappoint! Amazing food and everyone was so friendly.

Our group (8 adults) went here for the first time yesterday to celebrate my son’s graduation- our meal was delicious!! The standouts were the gumbo,beef short ribs, fried green tomatoes, fried okra , bean pie , sweet tea & koolaide. We also had fried catfish , shrimp, fried chicken, Mac n cheese, greens, black eyed peas , sweet potatoes and rice.
