Was told 15 to 20 minutes. Rude staff. Showed up 5 minutes early for pick up. Told them I knew I was early. Waited 55 minutes for food. Told me, "we said 20 minutes".. which apparently meant an hour. Plus, the fish was not good at all.

Nasty.. chicken had good flavor but it was tough and hard to eat. Rice was very plain with no seasoning, cabbage was under cooked. Mac and cheese was extremely DRY with no flavor, only ate it because it cost extra to sub cabbage for mac. Over all it was a cute little spot but the food was subpar, I will not be coming back.

I just need to say the customer service was amazing! I didn’t get my food that day because it was so busy and I was on a time crunch with lunch but the lady I spoke with in the phone was amazing, understanding, and she was willing to make it work. I appreciate excellent customer service and this place gave that! I can’t wait to finally taste the food!

Food was really good however, half of the ingredients were missing on one sandwich. Or the ingredients were on the wrong sandwich. Also took 15 extra minutes.

I ordered Saturday 10/29/22. I wasn't happy with my order. I'm not writing a review to put anyone's business in a negative, and reviews are to make the business aware of deficits and make changes to better the product. The owners do not like constructive criticism. We ordered two large j*** chicken dinners, one with two orders of cabbage and no rice and one with rice and peas and cabbage. The rice didn't have any peas and it didn't taste like freshly cooked rice. The chicken didn't taste like freshly cooked chicken nd it was dry. There weren't any plantain(no explanation when picking up the order). Anyway, this was the second time we'd patronized this establishment and the first time was a little better. We live and learn and other people may have a better experience. Even walking inside there wasn't a smell of food cooking. I ALREADY know I can go somewhere else. I wish nothing but the best for this restaurant. As the owner responded to a review, this is her livelihood and her means, and reviews can do harm. I'm not trying to do harm. Just trying to bring insight to something that may need tweeking or the result of an off day.

The portions are not worth the price. I ordered a large curry goat and the amount of goat given compared to everything else was miniscule.

I had hope for this spot, but after SEVERAL mishaps, I’ve concluded my money is best spent somewhere else. The first time I ordered here I was pleased… the remaining times have been huge disappointment. First the posted hours of operation do not reflect the business hours as I’m assuming they open when they want. The second time I tried to order no Rasta pasta was available, took a substitute. The third visit I called my jerk wing order in only to arrive and my order wasn’t ready causing me to have to cancel in order to arrive to work on time. Contacted the owner who offered to take something off of my bill my next visit along with a set of instructions that I don’t feel I should have to do when I’ve called my order in enough time to get to work. Fourth visit (today) no jerk wings available. I feel so bad because the young man was so apologetic and offered to take care of any other item I wanted but I wanted wings. I am a person that understands things happen but as a new patron I don’t want to drive 50 mins from home to have my cravings shot down by poor business management. I hope my experience encourages some change because what little of the menu I was able to taste was good. But this customer is moving on. Best wishes

Food was pretty good but portions are in fact rather small for the price. When I called I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes but I seen the reviews saying it takes long so I didn’t get there until 30 mins after the call just to be sure. I ordered the oxtail dinner, the rice was cooked perfectly. I only wish the portions were bigger for the price you’re paying.

Originally, I had placed a review pretty upset over the fact I had placed an order for a dish, and they confirmed the order and then the door dasher had to reach out and say the restaurant no longer had the dish I wanted. Long story short, my money was refunded etc.since then, I have tried multiple other dishes to give them a chance instead of just leaving a bad review.THEIR FOOD IS EXCELLENT! I had wished I picked another dish when I had first ever placed an order through door dash instead of just being upset. I have also gone there myself, and the staff has all been so friendly!!

This review is just on the taste of the food:The food is quite good, and I'd recommend coming here at least once to try it. I ordered the Jamaican J*** Chicken and my wife ordered the Jamaican Fried Chicken. The j*** chicken was super soft and tender and had this smoky flavour/blackened exterior (like BBQ) that made me wonder if it had been slow cooked in a smoker for a couple of hours. The seasoning was just the right amount of spicy for my taste and was fantastic. The fried chicken was equally soft and juicy on the inside while being perfectly crispy on the outside.The cabbage that comes on the side actually tasted like nothing, which was amazing b/c let's face it, cabbage is terrible, and if you can make something healthy taste neutral that's a win.
