It's been a long time since returning to this Ypsilanti diner. The menu is filled with an array of comfort and old school food with daily specials. My shepherd's pie was a good serving enough for a second meal. A nice amount of cheese on top of mashed potatoes over nicely flavored minced beef and mixed vegetables. Have to return as more people were coming in for dinner on a Saturday evening.
Best comfort food in the area. Dining area is clear, well lit, and almost feels like you are in a friend's home in the best ways. Food is very reasonably priced. All the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go!
Went there on a whim and loved it. Great food, affordable prices, friendly wait staff, and a homey atmosphere. I didn't experience any wait time for a table for two -- we went around 12:30pm on a Sunday.
Edit: also, we didnt wait long at all for the food--we both received our large breakfast orders in less than 15 minutes
