Great coffee spot for working. All tables on one side of the shop have outlets and Wifi is strong. There's a gender neutral bathroom available to customers, and the latte art is always perfection. Love the unique offerings like the Cascara tea too. Great dairy free milk options and lots of free parking available in the back. Well lit with lots of windows. Wouldn't recommend for bigger groups though - most tables only seat 2.
It is truly a blessing that small Ypsilanti is the home of such a world-class coffee house and coffee roaster. Hyperion pushes the envelope of how good coffee can be. I lived in Portland and Seattle in the early 90s when Starbucks only had a few franchises that were locally owned. I have worked for coffee roasters in the past. I did not have any of their food, so I can't speak on that. However, I've been to both the ann arbor and ypsilanti location, both awesome. Great staff, great coffee, cool environment! Get an iced cardi Boi, you won't regret it!
