I’ve had Ma Lou’s twice in the past couple of months. I can fairly say I was out of my
Mind sleeping on this place for so long. Best chicken and waffles I think I’ve ever had. Portions are crazy huge too!

WHAT?! This place had good reviews so we stopped in. Never been to Ypsi before. Outside was kind of cute but unassuming. The food? Fantastic. I just ate the holiday bbq platter. Sauced chicken that was sweet, spicy, and kind of vinegary? Loved it. The sides were all great too.

I do not say this lightly-- the hot honey sandwich is the best chicken sandwich that I've ever had. Everything in this establish is made fresh and from scratch. The slaw. The ice-cream for the shakes. The baked beans. OMG, the baked beans are made with a bean melody and are absolutely delightful. The customer service is spectacular. Staff has a true passion for their product and the customer experience. I wandered in with a group of nine people and we all left delighted....
