I'm a little biased since I make the trip as a musician to play for the patrons there but it's still got some of the best food and friendliest staffs you could ask for. Worth the drive all the way from Lansing, I just wish I could find myself there more often!

Mash is fantastic. The bartender was super cool and whopped up some fabulous drinks for us. She even customized a switch of ingredients and knocked it out the park. The ambiance is lovely. The eve was warm enough to have doors open. It wasn't terribly busy so my group of lady friends all say in a circle in their cozy leather high back chairs. Previously we are at Thompson & Co. The drinks were great, the bartenders were super chill and capable (even willing to admit when they needed to look up how to make a cocktail (and still killed it!!)) But my major complaint that might not bring me back: it's too small of a venue for a full amplified live band. My friends and I were in the opposite corner of the bar and could barely hear each other to have a conversation.
