I grabbed a shrimp po boy after golf it was really good. They use large shrimp plus they gave me the extra shrimp they couldn’t fit on the sandwich. The guy at the window was super nice. I’d recommend them. The food was made fresh and I’d wait for freshly cooked food anytime!

Good place but the pohboys are not as I expected. But I think of Nola and Deep South pohboys when I think of them.

And I get the complaints I had to sit and eat through given by a couple of customer together but take into the consideration of the staff and cooks, you should know this isn’t going to be as inner city/southern like as you expect. It’s obviously they’re not the race you’re expecting those things from.

But the deep fried pickles and hush puppies were great!

Sam's has everything fried that you could think of when it comes to seafood.
Not too salty, not too bland. The coleslaw was very tasty with all of the flavors evenly prepared.
Not bad for a grand opening.

MILD FOOD POISONING! SPENT MY NIGHT IN THE BATHROOM AND STILL ISSUES THIS MORNING! Liver, gizzards and hush puppies were burnt. Liver was like leather, gizzards were like chunks of car tires and hush puppies were crunchy all the way through. Red beans and rice was decent actually. I ate as much as I could force myself to because I hate wasting food, especially meat from a once living creature that was killed for food. At least you can respect the creature enough not to waste it! I'll never go back and hope nobody else does either. The lady was nice and it was clean but the food was horrendous.DO NOT EAT HERE!

Ordered a shrimp combo. The one shrimp I tried to eat was not de-veined. Never going there again.
