Annie is the best! She was a hostess and server at a sushi place near us for several years. She is super kind no matter how busy she is, and great at remembering little details. We drove an hour to see her working at Sushi Dabu. It was the best sushi we've had in quite a while. We had 4 rolls and a lot of apps and sides. Our friends got ramen, bulgogi, and bibimbap. Everyone raved about the food quality and taste.

For appetizers we got the vegetable tempura and yakidori. The tempura was light, crunchy and really delicious with the dipping sauce. The yakitori was wuote flavorful and the meat was tender - it could have been hotter.
For entrees we got 3 sushi rolls - ruby roll, washtenaw roll and baked salmon roll. All three were delicious but ghe ruby roll was bit more flavorful than others. Great service and nice atmosphere. But pricy though.
