We had brunch at Tikalito today and everything was fantastic!
I had the huevos rancheros - the best I’ve had since I lived in L.A. twenty-plus years ago. My wife had a chicken tamale and it too was out of this world - the masa was thick and flavorful. And the refried beans… a hint of cocoa, flavored with molé, maybe? Super friendly service too. Everyone seemed genuinely grateful

I was very sad when Hana closed its doors but it’s great this opened in its place! I’ve had basically all the tacos ypsilanti has to offer and various Central American from the couple places that have it. This is hands down the best place for the category of food that I have found in the area! Definitely give them a shot you won’t be disappointed!
