I was very disappointed with my experience at Gabriel's Hoagies. After placing my order, my daughter and I sat patiently waiting. As we waited, I noticed several customers who came in after us were served before we were. One young couple dining in received their food well before we did, even though they arrived after us.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the quality of my order. I noticed the couple's hoagies were generously filled with meat, but when I got home and opened mine, it was mostly onions and mushrooms with very little meat. It did not look anything like what I had seen being served to other customers.

Based on what I experienced, I left feeling that I was treated differently, and it was upsetting. I hope management reviews how orders are handled and ensures that every customer is treated fairly and receives the same quality of food, regardless of who they are.

Simple menu, great prices, local feel.

You know a good hometown spot as soon as you walk in, it just has all the right vibes and Gabriel's nails it!
The place turned over twice while our family was there, everything came out tasting on point.

The menu is simple and perfect. They aren't trying to do too much. They have their menu nailed down and tight, and if you peak in the back on the way to the bathroom you see the machine at work. Beautifully.

Wish I lived closer so I could make this a regular lunch spot.

Thanks for doing what you do well, my pops came in here in high school and loved it. Any time we are within a 100 mile radius we swing in.

Ypsilanti staple. Hadn't been since high school
Took my granddaughter to lunch and she loved it.
We'll definitely be back.

You go to Ypsilanti Michigan you better stop at Gabriel they got the best steak hoagie in the world and put some of them hot peppers on it

I came in around 1pm during lunch rush and still had fast polite service. I just got the cheese steak with American cheese, didn't realize it didn't come with peppers on it but was still amazing. Will definitely stopping by this location more often on my trips to Michigan.

It was my first-time there and you couldn't ask for a better steak and cheese sandwich. The girls there were fun and chatty.
