Sat outside and smelled the smokers, food and portions were good and the overall service was pretty quick. We enjoyed it and when we make back to that area of the county we will stop by again.
If you’re ever around Saugatuck/Lake Michigan, then American Char is most definitely worth a visit. It’s absolutely delicious homemade BBQ and Pizza. We got the sampler and everything was tender and juicy. Their homemade sauces are a blast of savory flavors (we enjoyed them all, but loved the Kentucky Black and Kansas City in particular). The bbq baked beans are easily the best we’d ever had. We also had the Hallaback Street Corn pizza which was fantastic...
Some of the best BBQ you can come across. While it does sit a little off the beaten path, thats the allure of this place.
