“We went to D. Michael B’s on Tuesday night for their “Italian Night” where all pasta and bottles of wine are 1/2 price. My wife ordered the alfredo and I ordered the pastalaya. The portions were generous and both of our pastas were very creamy with sauce. This was the 3rd time I’ve had the pastalaya there and I love it. It’s got a little kick to it but not too spicy. I definitely recommend checking out D. Michael B’s if you haven’t been before!“

“Our daughter used Rockwoods for the venue for her wedding on 10/4/2025 and let me tell you that place did not disappoint. From the friendly staff to the great service to the awesome food to the great bartenders slinging drinks it all was well worth it. We served either chicken Kiev or beef brisket and both were out of this world very very good and tasty. I can’t thank the cooks enough for their excellent and delicious tasting food they prepared for us.While serving the sit down dinner,their staff did an excellent job serving 280 people in a quick and professional manner. Can’t say enough about how friendly each and everyone of their staff was. Thank you Thank you Rockwoods for your professionalism you showed on our daughters special day. “Wonderful little room with fireplace to celebrate my son’s birthday! Food and drinks, and beer was great! We had a burger, chicken sandwich, pizza, and garlic bread from the appetizer menu. At the end, our waitress brought us a brownie and ice cream dessert for my son’s birthday! OMG!! Everything was delicious and it was a great experience! We will be back…., worth the 1/2 hour drive!“

“This is hands down THE BEST place to eat! I have a special needs ( Autistic, ADHD, vision impaired) grandchild and she requests this Culvers daily. We have tried others ( The St Cloud location made us leave because of her excited squeals) but the way the entire staff treats her and the rest of us when we walk through that door in Monticello is OUTSTANDING!! They can see if she's having a tough day and they go above and beyond to accommodate us. I have NEVER taken her anywhere else in Monticello that has accepted her the way Culvers staff has. They are always polite, fast and very welcoming. I don't know all of their names but Anthony and Chad are two of her favorite people. The manager is wonderful! When my bill fold got left behind she worked hard to reach out and get it back to me, she went above and beyond and I can't tell you how very much that ment to me. We don't feel like customers, we feel like family. The staff never seems crabby or like you are a burden, they really seem to enjoy their job. That speaks volumes about management. We cannot say enough good things about the staff 😃 Thank you Monticello Culvers for accepting my Granddaughter for who she is ❤️“

“We reserved a party room for a small business event. Deb was very easy to work with and Michelle was helpful when I had questions and Deb wasn't available. Their rates were incredibly reasonable. The flexibility was hard to beat! When we arrived, Mike and Deb were great about making sure we had what we needed. We had 2 servers- mine was Emily and she was very on top of things. The food was good and the drinks were good- I heard no complaints from any of our guests about the food, drinks or service. Kudos to the kitchen for pace and standard. Also, the room afforded a lot of space and a great deal of privacy from the rest of the bar which was perfect for us. Overall, I wish every venue was as great as this one! Thanks Liberty crew!“

“Applebees is pretty consistent across locations which is good being a chain store. We had quick service. Waiter was attentive. If get there during Happy Hour can be a good deal and get in and out rather fast. Nice atmosphere during March Madness as many TVs to watch the games were on.

Kid-friendliness: Have a good kid menu with options for main course and side for almost every kid. Cost friendly for kids menu also.“
