Ordered takeout, which was done quickly, however food lack in flavor and some dishes did not include what was listed in the meal’s description. Bone broth beef soup came with little meat, no noodles as listed in the meals description and the broth tasted like it came out of a packet, if you’re looking for real seolleongtang you’re better off going to seoul cafe. Banchan was poorly done and bland, probably old veggies and did not include kimchi. Spicy rice cakes were very sweet, hardly had fish cake, and had no egg, which again was listed in description on the menu. Chicken katsu was ok and bulgogi was ok. Spend your money for Korean food elsewhere, food here is expensive and very lacking for what’s being paid for.

I have been here twice now with my family and I love it. The sushi bar is amazing and the Korean barbecue is delicious as well! The service was very good, very friendly staff. My favorite was the crazy boy roll - Try it! It is not included in the all you can eat menu, but super worth it if you prefer rolls with cooked meat.

Me, my wife and daughter ate here and the food was awesome! We ate till we exploded and the staff were very kind! I highly recommend it! FYI, don’t over order when you do all you can eat. You may or may not get charged $10 for leaving too much uneaten food on the table.
Kid-friendliness: If you need to use a high chair, make sure it’s not in a narrow area.

Best place ever! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and the food was simply the best asian food I’ve ever tried. It became one of my favorite restaurants.

The food is excellent. The Korean dishes are the best, better than the sushi or Chinese options, but with a group or with kids it is good to have those options.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and decided to try for the first time korean BBQ and sushi all you can eat. Just an FYI each person is $30 plus 18% gratuity because it's korean BBQ and all you can eat. If you don't finish the food any leftovers but you can't pack to go at all is also $20. We spent over $100. Probably won't go back.

Horrible customer service and policies. $200+ for 4 people and most of it was extra charges they pile on top of the bill.
Myself, my wife, and my sister-in-law ate here today, though notably it wasn't our original plan - we had planned to meet up and eat at a different East Asian restaurant, only to find that the place in question was closed between the end of their lunch hour and the beginning of their dinner period... which we were right betwixt.
We discussed other options, with Dong Hae II being seemingly the closest to our original destination (both in cuisine and in terms of distance).
I was immediately impressed with the service - it's easy to be attentive when there aren't many tables eating, and I counted only ourselves and two other tables, but the server managed something more impressive; his knowledge of the menu was without fault, and he did not "hover" around us.
The food was similarly priced as other comparable menus, but I felt like it was significantly higher quality. No dedicated vegetarian menu but our server was good at explaining what could and couldn't be prepared in a vegetarian manner; I got a wonderful Tofu Yakisoba and my wife got a Rainbow Salmon Roll, and we got edamame and quite a bit of Tamago Nigiri (which I originally ordered for myself but after my wife tried it, she was enamoured).
My sister-in-law got a fancy tofu rice bowl, but I am not sure if I recall the name correctly and I didn't get any pictures unfortunately. She loved it, that's the important part.
My wife also has SEVERE Misphonia to the sounds made by Styrofoam, but our server went the extra mile and found us to go boxes made of plastic just for her comfort, which was very appreciated.
I wasn't thinking about pictures at the restaurant table, but I took some of the fresh leftovers - Yakisoba, Rainbow Roll, Edamame, Tamago Nigiri.
Overall glad that our initial choice didn't pan out - Dong Hae II turned out to be a great experience, easily as good or better than the other restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Most everything can be made vegetarian on request, though they lack any dedicated menu or section.
Kid-friendliness: Probably not for kids, unless they have an adventurous pallette.
Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant complies with ADA guidelines.

Do not dine-in for all you can eat after 9pm they will force you to pay food waste charges when their store close on you. I would try to avoid this restaurant at all costs in the future. They would not let us to take out the food even when they charges us $10 per person for food waste that was already cooked. They would rather throw the cook food away then let us take the food out that we paid for with the extra $10 dollar per person fee for food waste. What a scam.

Decided to give this place a try since I've been to almost every KBBQ/Hotpot in MN. Below is my review based on my experience.
Food - The meat/veggie selection is a bit lacking. Not a lot of options as far as seafoods, and primarily just beef, pork, and chicken. You get the standard brisket, bulgogi, galbi, etc. I didn't see much of any seafood on the menu. Also kind of lacking with veggies. Not exactly sure how the meat portion works, but for the beef brisket you get a tiny rice bowl size that contains a few pieces of beef brisket. Yet for the marinated spicy pork, we got an entire plat of it (which is way too much and had a hard time finishing it).
As far as sides, it was very good. Love the Kimchi and the fish balls. There weren't much of a dipping sauce. They give you the sesame oil with salt and fermented bean sauce for dipping.
The appetizers and sides were very good also. It comes out hot and fresh. So it is made to order.
The sushi was good, but the sashimi portion was tiny. It's like a 2 piece salmon is really a 1 piece cut into 2 small thumb size portion. I didn't mind much since you can order more.
Service - The service was alright, but could be a little better. It was slow and only a few staffs working. We got our water and food, and than we were on our own for a while until they noticed a lot of smoke from our grill. They replaced the grill, but that was pretty much it. Not much of a service.
Overall, I would rank it 3.5 out of 5. It's a decent Korean BBQ place. It's pretty pricy compared to the other places though. For that same price you can get hotpot/kbbq combo at most of the other restaurants. Give it a try, and see what you think. Out of all the dishes, the side dishes were the most tasty. Very authentic.
