Worst experience of our lives. Two of us went to Pot Belly for lunch on this rainy day, we were looking forward to using some points that we had accrued from catering a corporate lunch. The GM was the rudest woman I have ever met, while we were in line, we mentioned that we were together for payment's sake, to which she responded very aggressively that they are understaffed and we would have to wait. I then added yeah, no worries, we just wanted to let you know that we are paying together. She then copped an attitude and said, I figured you were since you walked in together. (Walking in together does not equate to paying together). We waited patiently and then when it was time to pay, there was confusion over using the points on our account. We had checked off which item we wanted to redeem per her instruction, scanned it, and she barked back at us, I'm telling you what's on my screen, I then told her well this is what is checked off on his screen. Her rudeness was through the roof at this point, I was uncomfortable, and my fiance called her on attitude. She then proceeded to me that we were the problem and instead of taking a minute to help us figure out what the confusion was, she told us that she is number 14 in the country and does not need our money, that we could go and her and her employee would eat our food. What an awful experience. What an awful manager, instead of trying to help us, immediately jumps to telling us we can leave because she doesn't need our business, even worse, that she would eat the food. So disappointing, will surely never be back to this location for personal use or catering company lunches either. Will never recommend.

I was getting a sandwich while a training was happening, and the manager explicitly told the team that if they couldn't find someone to fill in for them they still had to come in, in person, even if they're sick. They said they'd likely get sent home, but they had to at least check in.That's:1. Gross2. Violates ESST if the employee has a doctor's note, and I'm assuming Potbelly's doesn't offer health insurance to their part time employees so getting a doctor's note isn't affordable.I'm not surprised to see predatory and unsanitary work practices, but maybe don't announce it in front of customers. Also was asked for a tip at the register, so it's fun to see they know they're not paying their employees properly.

Ordered skinny chicken salad. There was so little chicken salad on it that is was mostly lettuce and tomato. Shame because it is a good sandwich ( usually) but has to be a sufficient quantity to amount to more than the "fixins".

The person training the new staff shouldn't even be working with customers. I was sitting waiting for my online order when the long haired blond woman snapped at the customer at the register for asking for a bag. It was unnecessary that she acted like that. Once he left, she bad mouthed him to the new employee while other customers were in the restaurant. Then I continued to wait my turn as another person came in waiting for their online order. Since he walked up and asked if his order was ready, she said I will work on yours because the other person isn't here. I was there! So my sandwiches sat there getting cold as she completed his order. When I walked up asking about my order, she then raised her voice at me and told me to be patient. She then hands me my bag with a huff. The food was good even though it was cold, but the service was absolutely disgusting.

I can only get an order delivered to my location from this store, because the website doesn't let me change stores. They don't have any drivers and their DoorDash system isn't working, so my order just didn't go through. They also don't allow orders over the phone despite their phone system saying they do. And the website has a permanent error when trying to log into my account, so I can't even access my store rewards. The food is good when I can actually get it, but I have never had a good delivery experience with them.

Ordered The Italian and a bag of chips for delivery. Customer Service made my sub with care, wasn’t messy when I unwrapped it. Sub was seasoned nicely, salami, old world capicola, pepperoni, mortadella, and provolone on a toasted multi grain. Was impressed they use Zapp’s brand for chips. Love those. It’s also nice they offer “Skinny” “Big” or “Original” sizes depending how hungry or healthy you want to go. Keep up the great work!

Worst customer service ever. The guy server felt it was an inconvenience to do my sandwiches. I told him if he doesn’t like making sandwich then quit. Never going back to this location.

Rude and horrible service this location. The workers are not helpful and always make you feel like you’re disturbing them. I come to purchase and spend my hard earned money in your establishment and you’re annoyed because you have to make a sandwich. But watch and see some unknown person replies back to my review saying how great customer service they have with their 3.8 rating. Your workers have attitude problem and no customer service. The manger lady is unprofessional and so rude

Kind of Gross. The person making my sandwich was wearing earbuds and one fell out. He put it back in and finished making the sandwich. Did I get ear goo on my food...he didn't change his gloves. Why do you allow people preparing my food to do something so obviously unsanitary? Wearing earbuds while working on food prep should be prohibited.

Excellent food and excellent staff. This is a smaller location so the seating is somewhat limited if it's busy. Otherwise, very good!

Absolutely disgusting. In my sandwich was a dirty sauce cap, like what you’d see on the top of a mustard bottle. Completely unacceptable, unsanitary, and a choking hazard. Never again will I be back, management needs to address this with the lady making sandwiches today (11/13).

My spouse stopped in to the Arden Hills location tonight for peppers and waited at the counter for 15 minutes before looking around the counter to see the general manager, Deanna, on her phone. He asked for assistance and stated he'd been waiting a while. She claimed to be really busy in a very disrespectful tone and when he pointed out that she was on her phone, she grabbed the jars of peppers and told him to leave, she continued to go off on him, called him a jerk, told him she was glad she didn't have to work with someone like him, and after finally ringing him out and berating him in front of customers, told him never to come back. When I called to get the corporate number to file a complaint, she told me to go on the website and hung up on me. Might be time for undercover boss. Do better Potbelly.
