“A nice little diner. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Both times my family and I have been in we were asked what we wanted to drink before we even had a chance to sit. The staff , an older lady, and a gentleman both made it seem like we were in inconvenience to be there, which considering the first time there were only two tables, and the second we were the only ones in, seems odd. My husband enjoys the seafood combo on Fridays. The chicken dinner is tasty as well. I got the chicken Parm sandwich and was not impressed. It looked and tasted like a Tyson breaded chicken patty. I so had the French Dip and I liked that a lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair could quite easily be managed here. Plenty of space to move about.”

“We visited Burnt Onion Kitchen & Brews for the first time last night, and it was fantastic.I had the Greek salad, which is always one of my favorites. The portion was huge and packed with all the good stuff: cucumbers, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and just a little bit of lettuce. Exactly the kind of salad I love. So good! You can really tell they put in the effort to make sure your experience is top-notch. We started with the walleye cakes, which were delicious, then had the burger and a club sandwich, both served with some insanely good fries and a magical onion dip. The menu has a great variety, and the view is just perfect. The service, atmosphere, and food were all spot on. Everything was absolutely amazing. The onion soup is truly to die for. I’d definitely come back again. Honestly, I'm surprised this place isn't busier. 10 out of 10!”

“I’ve had a lot of pasties over the years between Northern Minnesota and the upper peninsula of Michigan. I have to say these are definitely my favorite. They cook great, the consistency is awesome (drier like they should be but no condiments needed). All the other locals I talked to like them too! I have gotten hooked on their jalapeño beef sticks. I want to try the others but I am too hooked on this flavor! Perfect meat to cheese ratio, nice and soft which I love (if I wanted something tough I would get jerky!) Definitely recommended! I work and live and work in this community and highly recommend trying them out!”

“We stopped here on Saturday and it was the best food we had while up north over the weekend! I ordered the 1/3 pound pulled pork w/ Mac n cheese and coleslaw. My husband got the brisket. The portion sizes were good & I needed a box for my meal. I tried the brisket and it was melt in your mouth amazing! We both ordered the key lime pie cocktails which were delicious. Service was great and quick. Atmosphere was nice and the decor was fun. A kitchen staff member even came out to ask us how everything was. Bbq sauce was amazing. All the flavors were delicious. Next time we’re up visiting we will be back!”

“What a delightful way to pack your guts before a 4 hour car ride home. The bread was rustic and mysterious. Covered in herbs and cheese. The cuts of meat were succulent and bursting with that secret subway umami flavors. Halfway through the sandwich I remembered Subways long partnership with Jared Fogel and that made me sick to my stomach.”
