Traveling to Austin for a January getaway, had to try Piggy's after reading the reviews. Very glad we did as we had a tasty big meal and capable service. They were busy on a Friday evening but we were seated and served up beers and spam fries appetizer promptly. I like Spam so I enjoyed the unique "fries" with ranch. For an entree I had the shredded pork (delicious), coleslaw and incredibly delicious cornbread. Honey butter too! Piggy's homemade sauces were great and fun to try....read full review
Overall great experience especially for a small town. The service was excellent and the server was very friendly.My favorite things the Ribs, the Cornbread, the chicken and turkey.Things that could improve: the Brisket, the pulled pork, the pit potatoes.The brisket and pulled pork were both moist but under seasoned.The pit potatoes were very tasty but seemed to be having an identity crisis trying to decide whether they are fries or chips.My personal preference would be to make...read full review
