The atmosphere is your ma and pa place, it's probably look like that since it opened. But it doesn't matter what it looks like, the food is awesome and the best burgers ever and the best crunchiest TATER TOTS IN MINNESOTA and then if you dip them in their homemade ranch dressing it's even better! And we can't forget the barbecue ribs OMG!
The Salty Dog is one of our favorite places up north. We look forward to going each time we are at our cabin. Check before you go for open times; I suggest you call and not rely on Google or internet for hours.Burgers are good but I prefer the pulled pork sandwich. They also have a grilled prime rib special now and then. We caught it once and it was out of this world. They also have frosty mugs for tap beer, although the servers should always go to the bottom for the most frozen...
Parking: Parking is behind the establishment. Decent size lot but might be small for large trailers, campers, or boats.
