“Our family was "hangry" after a sporting event at the Barret school and was pleasantly surprised to find this pub in town! Everyone ordered something differnet and chatted with the friendly proprietor while we waited. The burger, sandwhich, wings, and fries all came out hot and very well prepared. The atmosphere was really cool and welcoming. Seating is limited, but we were the only ones there at the time so not an issue. The U shaped bar was flanked by a number of 2 top tables and a single booth. I highly recommend this stop for pub style food and a drink. Prices were reasonable and cards are accepted. We'd definitely come back!”

“4 of were staying at tipsanah mounds campground at elbow lake and decided to go out to eat.. A search for local restaurants took us to Barrett inn.. Totally different atmosphere but great food is what we found..the young fella working was very friendly... We all would go back for another meal if we're in the area!!”

“Excellent large burger, French fries solid, BBQ not spicy but thumbs up, bourbon sauce, on the side, a little too sweet for my liking, but very yummy. Wherever they get their pickles is amazing had a water and a lemon and tasted refreshing not gross water.On Fridays at 5 o’clock there’s prime rib and on Sunday there is a chicken and rib buffet but the ribs are not every weekend.The location was very clean, the bartender was excellent super nice and helpful and patient. Hopefully she’ll let me come back again :-)Parking: There could be a lot in the back. It’s my first time here. Street parking during lunch was a little tight only three or four spots are available in front of the location.Kid-friendliness: Pool table, music, a toy machine and popcornWheelchair accessibility: Access possible sidewalks little slippery could use salt.”

“If you're looking for a great small town place to go for breakfast, the Hans House is a perfect spot! The staff is wonderful and the food is even better. They also have homemade bread and cookies to take home after your delicious breakfast.”
