“We had dinner here for my daughter’s birthday. We just got food; we did not play golf. Our waiter was super friendly and even found candles to put on her birthday dessert! The pizza was absolutely delicious, as was the skillet cookie dessert. Highly recommend, even if just going for the food!”

“We went there for Oktoberfest. It was windy, but sunny. It was nice to see people we hadn't seen in years and catch up. It's a beautiful venue with a variety of food trucks and entertainment. The grandkids liked being outside and they enjoyed the wagon ride to watch the mideval pumpkin launcher. 😅”

“Stopped in the bakery for a treat. We had never been in the bakery before, or never been to Alexandria before either. It smells so delicious in there. We bought two lemon Napoleons, we shared one for our treat and saved the other for next day. They were so flaky, lemony and delicious !!! Thank you Roers bakery for the good treats.”

“I am a relative newcomer to Alexandria. Country Blossom Farm is one of my go to places. Today I bought and baked their Chicken Pot Pie. Incredible! Flaky crust, beautifully cooked veggies and well seasoned chicken. Worth every penny. It’s like going back in time when I got off the school bus and into Mom’s kitchen and smelled fresh bread or pie.”

The interior is cozy and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is delicious and priced very reasonably. If you haven’t stopped here yet it’s a must visit, aim for lunch specials because the prices are amazing!

My above comments will remain and are meant to reflect the past this restaurant has had in the community.

In 2026 the business sold and new owners took over. I have never seen a more dramatic decline in quality from another restaurant. I hope with all my heart the owners listen to community feedback, and make an effort to make the food similarly to how the previous owners did.

I wish these folks the best but the decline in quality is so severe that I worry for the restaurant. And I am sad for the community that lost something so wonderful. Many friends and colleges have echoed a similar sentiment and declined to even visit the restaurant any longer.”

I usually have some minor problems getting my order understood at other establishments (maybe because of my pronunciation or maybe because of prejudices) but this time it was different, the young lady who served me was super friendly and respectful.”
