It was just okay. I didn’t really think the food was exceptional for the price. We ordered the Rockefeller oyster and it had this weird, stale taste that all 3 of us didn’t like. Also the duck was overly sweet and not well balanced at all. The steak was cook to the right temp but there wasn’t anything exceptional to it and fries were overly salty. Small but delightful restaurant in Bayport, MN. Wonderfully prepared food, very nice cocktails, and an impressive wine selection. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. We dine there celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we all had a fantastic time. We will definitely come back.
My husband and I went here for a date night. We got the Chef’s Counter. It was a 5 course meal with dishes that aren’t on the regular menu. Every dish was amazing and the portions were big. We left full! We also did the wine pairings which were great! The chef, Mike, and Sous Chef were so knowledgeable about all of the dishes and wine pairings. They even talked to us about all the dishes and how the wine compliments them. We had a great time and recommend this to everyone....
