High-end Italian, rare for a small town in the Upper Midwest. New York tight seating, room quite loud. Mean age of patrons: mid 30s. Wait staff is young, attentive, well-trained and well-groomed. Tables are hard to get, extremely popular. Try to go with three or more unless you enjoy being a part of your neighbors' conversations at the tables for two. Best experience. Showed up without a reservation with a gal pal on a whim and the bar and restaurant were full. The squeezed us in to a table in time for 1 drink/app and we waited for our takeout. Because takeout wasn't ready when the table was needed, we were given appertifs and waited 10 min more. The wine (scalia) was marvelous and my friend later order a case. The food was excellent. If I could give more than five stars I would! Incredible food, incredible drinks and Mitchell was the best bartender! I could eat every night of the week here. Will definitely be back soon!
