“Have been there for breakfast and it is in the top 3 (gotta count my husband as he cam cook). The breakfast side is like an old soda shop with sassy little signs. Service was awesome on both side the cafe and the bar. Do not want to give this away but Monday night 3.00 burgers, you cannot got wrong. Also the first place I have not had to tell the bartender that a strawberry margarita get sugar not salt. It is just a great little spot.”

“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!”

Some of our party were very late (got lost), but the server and host both were very accommodating. It's been years since we've been there from out-of-state, but thought both the food and event were great. Only small criticism, get a band that plays mostly German songs - don't need to hear oldies from this country at German event (e.g. Neil Diamond?).”
