Nicer than a divey little cafe (greasy spoon) but with no pretensions... well maybe a little (just enough?) with the fireplace... But felt welcoming and the food was simple and satisfying.
The customer service here is welcoming, friendly, upbeat. The meals were sooo good. The bacon on my sandwich was crispy, the lettuce was fresh, tomato was good and just enough mayo. My son said his sandwich would be worth ordering and eating again. The dining area was welcoming and clean. However, I feel the price for a 12 oz glass of apple juice a little ridiculous.
