We stopped here on Saturday and it was the best food we had while up north over the weekend! I ordered the 1/3 pound pulled pork w/ Mac n cheese and coleslaw. My husband got the brisket. I have waited a long time to write a review on Neighbor's BBQ Co. Here are my thoughts. My main criteria when going out for BBQ is that they can make BBQ at least as good and hopefully, better than what I can do at home. I have tried their ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket and wings. The ribs, chicken, pulled pork and wings are usually at least as good as what I do myself so, they get a thumbs up. Their brisket, however, that needs work. Neighbor's BBQ offers amazing food with some of the best barbecue around, cooked with hickory and maple wood smoke for a unique flavor. The ribs are incredible, cooked perfectly with an incredible sauce, and the brisket is melt-in-your-mouth amazing. The buffalo wings are also excellent, with a spot-on sauce. The pulled pork and Mac n cheese are delicious, and the beans are great even as leftovers. The restaurant's location on a ski hill at a resort provides a fantastic atmosphere with fun decor. While the coleslaw might be lacking, other sides like the creamed corn are to die for. The key lime pie cocktails are a must-try. Service is great and quick, and the staff checks on guests to ensure satisfaction. Although they don’t offer birthday desserts, they do provide candles for your own cake. Neighbor's BBQ is a must-visit for BBQ lovers in Minnesota, with plans for expansion to the Twin Cities in the future.
