“First time being here and had a good experience. Got mac and cheese and broccoli on the side. Weird compliment but I'm SO happy they cook broccoli correctly. I'm used to mushy broccoli at other places so this is a nice change of pace. Will definitely be “
“They have a really slow online ordering process. There’s really no point in ordering online because you still have to go there and wait. You might actually get the food faster ordering once you get there than to do it online or by phone. Food is great, but service could be better.“
“The restaurant is fine. Consistent and quality food. I've been here many years. Great portions. My beef is with Google and Chownow. I was happy the restaurant finally has ability to do online order but I made the mistake of clicking on the stupid link on Google that says "Order Pickup" thinking it was an online order directly with restaurant. Instead, it links you directly with a 3rd party, Chownow, without fully disclosing it until you've already placed the order and fully paid. The problem is...they upcharge EACH ENTREE by nearly $7. That's right!! I overpaid by $14 (probably more after taxes) for just 2 entrees with no delivery. I can understand if this charge was for delivery of food but I had to pickup myself. I called Chownow, the people who facilitated order and took my money. They claimed this is all Google's fault for the upcharge. They're in business together so I find it hard to believe. I'm sure they get a cut from Google too for doing the dirty work without full disclosure. Don't fall for this trick of clicking the stupid Google link I highlighted thinking you're ordering online directly with the restaurant. Go to the restaurant's actual website to be charged normal prices to all customers. Imagine how much your bill adds up when they tack on $7 per ENTREE! Don't be fooled. BEWARE of this sneaky tactic. GOOGLE and Chownow...you should be ashamed of yourself for price gouging. So mad I had to vent. Made Chownow refund my excess upcharge. RIDICULOUS!!“
“Friendly service, generous portions, good flavors. Overall a great value ( food portions versus flavor/quality)-- we've only visited once but we'll be back! Ingredients in dishes seemed to be of good quality and fresh.Parking: Strip mall parking.Kid-friendliness: Staff were very friendly to children and they have high chairs and booster seats. Was no changing table in men's restroom, not sure about women's.“
“Found this spot 2 years ago and we (coworkers) have been going regularly for lunch ever since. We've tried a few things off the menu, but the main thing we're ordering is the beef noodle soup "pho". IMHO best 'dark' broth pho in the area! --probably because there isn't any other spots within a 5min drive from our work place. I mean we have tried other spots further, but nothing has beat this spot in terms of flavor. There's probably 2 that are close, but none has us wanting to go back for more. Service-wise you can expect the expected. On busy days, service is slow. You can also expect that sometimes food will take 15+minutes. It's also possible you might have to grab more napkins on your own if you need more. It's also possible you might have to ask for more water as well. What I'm saying is, the service is there. They're all friendly and nice people. Do be warned though, you might hear the aunty be demanding sometimes to new workers. The place is nice. Situated between a small pet store and a sports store. I don't think any of the tables are wobbly, but don't blame me if there is, personally, we've only really sat in a few booths and tables. They've got plenty of tables. I don't recall any music, but I do recall just a slideshow of their menu on repeat. Just sneaking in my 'ambiance' piece. Anyways, pro tip: if you're trying to grab a quick lunch and dine-in, you can order ahead of time on the phone. Another pro tip: during lunch hours, lunch special portion is a good option if you're not able to eat a whole entree by yourself. So if you see something you want and it's on the lunch special, give it a go. Just some info on things I've tried: Khao Soy is one of the best I've had in the Cities, unless someone can point me to a better spot. Chicken Lettuce Wrap is . Spicy chicken wing is hit or miss, but when it hits, it's . Don't expect the Pad Kra Pow to be like your typical Thai restaurant - this one is a light stir fried version without the fried egg and without the minced meat. Rah Nah is real good. Fried rice is . I highly recommend this spot. Note* get your spice levels correctly. Be warned, mild can be spicy.“
“The manager here deserves a raise. I have come in many times to this location and it’s nothing short of extraordinary when it comes to customer service. It’s always super clean and the staff are always super friendly. I have been to other locations and this one is the top one. The owner of this particular location should be proud.“
“The best around! Must try! The family that owns this place is just fantastic, helpful, friendly, and great cooks! I saw one of them helping a customer to his vehicle on my mom recent visit and it just reinforced how fantastic they are over all! The lo mein is a must try and so is the sweet and sour!“
“Angkor's food is always made to order & piping hot! I enjoy the #10 chicken & vegetable stir fry which includes fried rice, an egg roll or 3 cream cheese wontons. I would suggest to call ahead since they are usually very busy. Take-out only.“
“This restaurant is kept extremely clean and inviting, there is beautiful music played in the background, the service was very kind and respectful, our food arrived fast, and the meal itself was delicious. We shared plates of spicy beef lemongrass, pad Thai, and sesame chicken and all were decent sized helpings and hot and fresh. Spice level is adjustable.“
