I went here to open a savings account in person and had a pleasant surprise of a time. The employee that helped me (Amy) was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process. Even though we hit a couple road blocks, Amy stayed positive and even gave my friends and I a free drink from the café! I ended up getting my account open and more questions than I thought I had answered. Also, the sparkling strawberry lemonade topped off this 5 star review. Amazing customer service all around, would come back here again! :)

One of the rare spaces to relax in the mall without being bothered or overwhelmed! I read, worked, and ate here for a few hours. The coffee is one of the BEST I've had in the cities (iced caramel latte), I was stoked to see Verve here as a Californian. I also got a breakfast sandwich and cookie, which were not bad but a little expensive without a Capital One card. Service when ordering was not great however everybody else was friendly and I got to hear some very genuine conversation between other customers and the employees. I'd go here again for the atmosphere and coffee.

Had issues being added to my wife’s account so went to the Capital One Cafe at the advice of the customer service folks on the phone. Emo was our representative and he was patient and knowledgeable and kind while we had to battle with the customer service department that we once again had to call once there, and he ultimately resolved our issue. Great dude and excellent service!

VERY good coffee! Very calm, serene atmosphere in the midst of the bustling Mall of America. HIGHLY recommend! Get 1/2 off your drink if paying with any Capital One card- which is an amazing deal! They have a lot of seating which is broken up into a number of areas; they have simple games (connect 4, etc).
So whether you need to get some work done, need some delicious coffee, or want to take a little breather from walking the mall- this place has what you need!

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. The environment is really nice to do work in. They have these “nooks” that you can reserve for work and meetings if you’re a capital one customer. Their coffee is honestly really good. They use Verve Coffee and I got a single origin pour over from Ethiopia and it had notes of peach and was creamy. All of it is true. They even make it by hand and they weigh out the beans and the pours in a acaia scale. I was very surprised.
My wife got a vanilla latte and it was Excellent!
I love the benefits of being a capital one customer and getting 50% off of drinks also.

Not gunna lie, the cafe is great. I had to go in to deposit a check and was prepared to be annoyed, but Mohamed was awesome and so was my sparkling matcha.

Wow, they have a really good espresso. I also had the chance to use the ATM. Coffee is far way superior than Starbucks. Came here multiple times while I was attending a conference. I am not a barista, but I have a decent $400+ grinder and a decent Gaggia espresso machine. It is always hard to find good coffee while on the road. I like straight espresso with no sugar. Low quality coffee can be masked with darker roast and milk. I will now be looking for the ones closer home.

Ordered a large latte, it was more than i was expecting even with half off. When I got my drink it was an 8 oz. Guess the same thing happened to my wife the last time we went, so we won't be going back. It is one thing to have a bad experience at a place, but this gives us a bad image of the company as whole.

Update: The Verve cafe has instituted a new policy which means they don't make cold drinks without ice. So half of your drink will be just ice, if you order something without ice they fill half the cup. I used to buy their $26 bags of Mujeres De Heuheu whole bean coffee but from now on I'll just go to Dogwood. They can take their severely anti-consumer garbage back to where they came from. I hope CapitalOne cancels their contract with Verve and picks a different coffee company. I would strongly recommend Dogwood or the Get Down. Both local to Minneapolis, and both great businesses.
Old review: I go here whenever I'm at the Mall. It's a great spot to unwind, pull out your laptop and get some work done. The bank ambassadors are fantastic friendly folks that are happy to help with anything you need while simultaneously not trying to sell you anything. This place will never be profitable but it gives CapitalOne an incredible amount of goodwill and soft power. It's also the only great indoor third space I can think of to hang out or get work done. The last time I was here I had a conversation with Tyshaun and he helped with everything I needed, and talked to me about CapOne's Venture X! Also the sparkling matcha ginger lemonade they make is excellent and not too sweet.
