Great ice cream but the lady worker with braids is very rude and does the bare minimum. It's almost as if it hurts her to say a simple "hello". We ordered a cup of cookie dough not a cup of her atitude.

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, I arrived at Cold Stone in Mall of America at 8:55 PM, five minutes before the scheduled closing time. As I approached the line, a Cold Stone employee prevented me from entering. I politely reminded the employee that it was not yet 9:00 PM, the closing time, but my concerns were disregarded. Seeking assistance, I approached the counter and requested to speak with a manager. A young lady named Andrea identified herself as the person in charge. Despite acknowledging that it was not yet 9:00 PM, Andrea explained that she aimed to conclude all customer transactions by that time and, consequently, closed the line prematurely.I believe it is unfair to customers when a business advertises a specific closing time but refuses service to those who arrive before that time. Andrea's handling of the situation was marked by rudeness and unprofessionalism. She showed little concern for the customer experience and did not hesitate to create a scene. Regrettably, there were no apologies extended. It was evident that her demeanor influenced the other employees negatively. It is worth noting that this Cold Stone location is situated in one of the largest malls in America. Nevertheless, the level of service provided did not meet expectations. Disappointed by the experience, I opted to visit another Cold Stone location four miles away, where I was assured that customers would be served until the advertised closing time.

Ice cream was good, but they would benefit from adding a short description to each menu item.

I went with my wife and a friends and our order was “ok” to say the least. The kids working need to not mash the ice cream into a paste. When they do that it’s already melting when you get it. Now I worked here As the manager between 2019 and late 2020 so I know that they can do better than this

Good Girl

Was good until I found a round plastic thing in my ice cream.

Every single person here had such a dull reaction to me walking in , I was skeptical that I might be doing something to offend them . They were not rude but definitely bordered on being very unfriendly. I asked for a taste of the BOO batter and when I liked it ordered it and she made it with cake batter ? when I told her it's not the right flavor she said no that's what you tasted !! excuse me mam , I can differentiate between two ice cream flavors that had such distinct colors black vs white . she insisted one more time and I felt awkward holding up the line so I just went ahead and got what she gave me since she had already poured it... ridiculous because I ended up throwing 70% of it .

I was in line shortly before closing 9/27. The gentleman helped the 4 people in front of me and then refused to help me even though I was in line. Awful customer service

On a road trip. Easy to find. Nice little place. Good staff. Great ice cream. Lots of choices.

They have a chocolate almond milk ice cream that is absolutely amazing. You do not need to be lactose intolerant to enjoy this ice cream but if you are then this is something you should try.

We went to the mall to have some fun with our toddler today. However the experience became rather stressful and frustrating because of the low quality spoon used by Cold Stone. While my toddler was eating his ice cream, he accidentally swallowed a small sharp piece of plastic that was chipped from the spoon. We had to go to urgent care to make sure everything was okay with him. But, a good precious Sat was gone because of a spoon offered by Cold Stone. A joyful day was ruined.

I wish zero stars was an option. We arrived 9 minutes before closing and were rudely told we would not be served. They had an employee standing in the line to refuse service to anyone walking up, but the employee had her back to me & kept me standing there for almost 5 minutes before saying I would not be helped. I had my niece along & politely asked the manager if we could please get some ice cream. Every single employee behind the counter screamed, actually screamed, "NO!!" in unison at me. Everyone in the surrounding area was taken aback. The level of hostility was shocking. This all happened before their 9pm closing time.I worked retail in college & we always helped customers who arrived before closing. We usually helped anyone who walked up before we cashed out the register, even if it was after closing time. That's called customer service. I won't be returning to any Cold Stone in the future. We went to Dairy Queen instead. You should too.

The ice cream is as excepted but the employees went above and beyond to help out. Cheers to the team on the 3rd floor creamery at mall of America. Thanks Tyler.
