“We were recommended this place by a local and told to try the Juicy Lucy. Being from the Midwest, we hadn't heard of such a burger, BUT that didn't stop us. This local gem was absolutely amazing food was hot and fast, the place was packed but moved pretty quickly. Definitely will be back.“
“I love Turf Club. This is a classic music venue with great service. I have been there a few times now and have never had a bad experience. The stage is elevated a bit so even if you're in the back, you can see the performance. This place isn't huge, so you get a very intimate setting. Great options at the bar for drinks and they have food, even though I haven't tried anything yet. Looks good though! I could not believe the service we got the last time we were there. We had a table and our server was so on top of everything. Never had to wait long for a drink refill. He was so nice and funny. Really added to the whole experience! I always keep an eye out for events at Turf Club because I'll take any excuse to visit here!“
“The Dubliner Pub's live Irish music (they sing more than just Irish, but Irish is my fave) and grab-someone-and-twirl-them dancing is top notch, so make sure you check this place out when they host live music, which is often thankfully. Nice side room with arcade style games and a pool table. We really love coming here; The atmosphere is great, even the old creaky wood floors!“
“Fabulous food and great friendly service, many choices of lots of menu items, plus monthly specials.I had the Monthly Buger special , so tasty.Great stop if you're in the Highland neighborhood .Great beer selections, too. Woo-HooThanks Nook y'all Rock.“
“Palmers Bar consistently manifests that rare mix of high-end, quality ingredients, creative mixology, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff and quietly-upscale atmosphere. All these elements work together seamlessly to ensure each Palmers patron's experience is an understated, singular joy.Vegetarian options: Panko-encrusted yam brisketKid-friendliness: The ball pit was hygenic and fun!!“
“This is a hidden gem brunch spot. On Saturdays and Sundays between 10am to 3pm you can get a pretty good meal for around $15 and comes with a free drink. The indoor bar area is small and divey (which I personally love), so indoor seating is limited but they have a great (and large) outdoor patio area which is shared with the Cabooze next door. There is occasionally live music outside, as well.“
“I'll start with the worst part about this venue and it is the acoustics/sound quality. It wasn't as good as some of the other venues I have visited. I think that's the only thing that could be improved upon. The bar pricing was incredibly reasonable and the cheapest I've seen at any venue. For the smokers, being able to go outside during the show was a HUGE plus. You can also visit the Bar next door. It was really nice not feeling caged in. There was lots of places to move around if you couldn't find a good spot to see. I was able to see almost all the concert and with me being 5ft 2 sometimes that can be a huge difficulty. Parking also wasn't the greatest because you really have neighborhood parking and don't know all the rules and restrictions. But overall it was awesome show and I can't wait to go back! One last thing- I was at the Chelsea Grin concert and got to meet several performers. It was so nice to have that intimate touch and it felt very very special to me. Dreams absolutely came true that night“
“Stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch. I really enjoyed the small town atmosphere in the big city. Great people and quick service. I really enjoyed the Frenchmen's Pub sandwich. It is worth the extra $2.50 to get the french fries.“
“This bar is fun, but there's this one worker with blonde hair I don't know her name but she's super rude and has pretty much upset me enough with her passive aggressive attitude to write this. You'll probably know the one because everyone else is chill if you regular here. She makes her own rules that aren't the bars like telling me I'm not allowed to be on a phone call outside minding my own business quietly and also demanding that you can't be here if you don't tip (Context, I always tip, there was one night I didn't have enough cash on my last drink and she told me to go home because I have no tip on the last one and refused to serve despite giving her many tips prior!) Not a nice person. Still giving the bar a 4 because people here are awesome, but this worker is really nasty passive aggressive, the whole "minnesota nice".“
“Comfortable mellow neighborhood bar, nearly full with 60-year old Grateful Dead fans who came at 8 PM on a Sunday night to listen to the house band, the Shotgun Ragtime band. Tables on the sidewalk out front with drinkers and smokers, and a neat little room with a pool table in the back. Relax, unplug, chill out, and stop by some Sunday evening. They have bands many other nights too.House kitchen is straightforward and solid, but simple fare.“
“solid dive bar and burger joint with reasonable prices. don't go here looking for anything fancy or craft burgers. they're meaty, greasy, and just plain tasty. pair it with a brew, and you've got yourself a quality meal. waitress was very personable and quickly fixed an issue with our order. the fries came out kind of cold and she brought us a fresh basket of hot and crispy fries. parking lot is VERY small, but there's plenty of street parking available.“
