STAY AWAY!! MANAGEMENT CHANGED.

This has been our fav go to place for authentic South Indian and food used to be awesome and authentic. Not anymore, they were renovating last yr end so we didn’t get a chance. Ate here and totally horrible. New management, new chefs and changed recipes. Totally dissatisfied

I wish I could give higher stars today. I’ve ordered from Kabobs multiple times, both through DoorDash and just calling in. Today is the first time that I’ve ordered through DoorDash and couldn’t get my order fulfilled. I waited over an hour to get my order confirmed, to which it never did. I called the store multiple times as DoorDash suggested, and almost tried themselves. We couldn’t get a hold of anyone for over an hour. Ultimately, had to cancel my order (which sucks because I love their food) as at that point the food should’ve been already picked up based off the order placement and pick-up estimate. While I understood it may have been a longer wait due to it being closer to dinner time, I am still upset.

Idk why the stars are so high. I got it because the stars are high but I’ve had better.

BY FAR, the WORST Butter Chicken I have ever had. I am fortunate enough to have grown up with an awesome group of Indian friends who have introduced me to many interpretations of the classic dish. I say with NO doubt, what I was delivered via Doordash can not even be called Butter Chicken. I actually believe it may have been Chef Boyardee tomato sauce mixed with rubber chicken. How you can claim to be an Indian restaurant and not even prepare this dish with any dignity says to me that anything else from this place can simply not be worth my time or my money.

Ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani, garlic naan and samosas. Uber eats

-Samosas were dry crumbly and not seasoned well

-Chicken biryani was somewhat fragrant but not seasoned well and there were many small bone fragments whereas at other restaurants I would find normal sized bones

-naan dough was likely overkneaded, resulting in a dense and horribly chewy texture

-The butter chicken was abysmally bland with no seasoning, watery texture, overcooked chewy chicken pieces and the only flavor note coming though being a whisper of tomato. I would have been happier if I received a can of chef boyardee.

Overall I was not only disappointed but angry and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they have a 10 year old in the kitchen making the food because that might be the only plausible explanation

The food isn’t what they say it is. I ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both came as tandoori chicken chunks in a thin, runny, dark tomatoey broth and tasted almost identical. Nothing creamy or buttery at all about the butter chicken and nothing of note when it comes to flavor. These dishes are like Indian-inspired chicken stew soups but no where near what they’re described as. The pictures online show that they know what these dishes are actually supposed to be so to send something totally different is wild. What?! Although white rice is the expected accompaniment to both of these dishes- they sent an oily herbed rice that seemed to have ground beef in it. What in the world?! It says served with basmati rice and it is not mentioned that it’s some sort of rice creation. I almost never give negative reviews but this food was literally terrible. I ordered via Uber Eats and highly recommend they put more realistic representation of their food on the platform so that expectations are a bit more clear on what the food is.

Yesterday, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and naan from this store, and it was the worst meal I've ever had. I will never order from here again or recommend it to anyone.I don't think they know how to cook it. Don't waste money here! 😞

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem, and I must say, it's a paradise for biryani lovers! The Authentic Hyderabad Biryani Restaurant truly lives up to its name.

By far without a doubt the worst indian food I have ever ordered in my entire life.

The vegetable biryani I got for my girlfriend was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. 90 percent of the food I eat ends up with my nose running, eyes red, and puts a smile on my masochistic face. This did not it was inedible.

The vegetable biryani also had zero vegetables in it. Im talking one piece of carrot, two pieces of potato, and some freaking peas. It was not only inedibley hot but a 13 dollar container of rice.

My chicken tikka masala? Literally 8 pieces of rock hard chicken. I tried cutting it and literally had to mash it to get it apart. The sauce it came in was flavorless and runny. It came with a container of plain white rice in a chinese food container.

This entire experience was unacceptable. I don't know if it is because we ordered fairly late (after 8) but it couldn't have been worse.

It all ended in the trash, just like this place is. It is trash.

Edit: Also, got food poisoning and spent the night sick.

After looking through the most recent reviews it looks like the place is under new ownership. The most recent reviews are either horrible (from normal people like me) or throwaway fake accounts made by the owner with 1 review that sounds more like an advertisement than an actual review. Dont be fooled.

This place can suck it.

This was by far the worst food I have ordered since moving to the Twin cities 5 years ago. It all ended up in the trash. I am a former professional cook of over 8 years and I know criminally terrible food when I see it. The chicken was hard as a rock and obviously microwaved. The Vegetable Biryani was literally all rice with a few old old looking peas and pieces of potato. 13 dollars for literally just old rice and potatoes. I could tell it was also microwaved because the corners were hard as a rock and inedible. This place needs to be shut down and the owner held liable for this terrible terrible food. Shame on them.
