McDonald's clearly wants customers to use the self-serve kiosks (or the app) to place orders but neither option is straight- forward. The in-store kiosk, because it is so poorly laid out, is confusing, time-consuming and frustrating for many of the customers. In the short time I was waiting for my other, I saw 3 people get frustrated with the kiosk and finally give up and leave. The app is also a horribly bumbled fiasco. The hottest crispiest chicken nuggets I have ever received in my life!! Drive thru line moved a bit slow, but honestly I'd have waited twice that time for nuggets this hot and crispy. And they gave me 3 honey packets! My new favorite McDonald's.
This particular McDonald used to be a hidden gem for me 20 years ago when I lived in Burnsville, now I live down the road a couple of miles: they HAD chocolate ice cream and it never broke down!!!!! It was a dream come true until it wasn't.
The next take away was they used to top in customer service. They would actually communicate with you as your order was being made. Now you're lucky you can get their attention to get a sauce packet.
