This hot honey chicken sandwich was incredible. The shop toys were also very tasty and the soda fountain is working perfectly. I will most definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!!! I just wish they had wet wipes for that chicken sandwich, but the sticky fingers were worth it!!!

Stopped here during a shopping trip at Mall of America. The line was pretty long on a Saturday around noon. I ordered the fried chicken melt and it took about 15 minutes for my order to be done. The bread was soggy due to the mass amount of coleslaw that comes on the sandwich. The fried chicken was good but overshadowed by the slaw. I wouldn't wait in line that long for something mediocre.

The hot honey fried chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I've had in a very long time! Just the right amount of cheese, and not too much honey.

Line was 20 min, waited another 25 after ordering.. operation, not dialed. Several mistakes w orders. 3 people behind me received orders before I got mine. Efficiency & leadership an issue.

I decided to give Melt Shop located North 3rd Floor a try as MoA was running a promo/deal on the website for BOGO sandwiches (till Feb 2nd 2020) and yelp's 5% cash back. Got the Fried Chicken Melt and the Burger Melt to compare to Chick-fil-A and Shack Shack in the same food court. Sadly both sandwiches would lose to the respective competitors. Now I'm not saying they were bad but I was expecting a bit more for the (normal) price of $8+ each. The chicken sandwich (4/5) was the better of the two. Juicy and tender, I would definitely grab a napkin. The burger melt was just okay (3/5). Maybe I was missing something but there was one small patty that didn't fill the sandwich leaving a few meatless bites. I don't see myself getting it again. Service was fast and friendly. 3.3/5 stars.

My friend Brianna ordered a maple bacon cheese melt from here. Not worth coming back for. The cheese tasted like flour and fat, almost like an uncooked roux. The bacon didn’t make it any better - she pulled the bacon off and left the rest of it. This needs to change drastically if they want it to be a success.

We were able to try Melt Shop when visiting the Mall of America. What a great concept!! My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Melt and I had a daily special that had brisket and chimichurri. We also had some amazing tots!! I wish they had something like this where we live!

Dry, just some meat slapped on bread with nothing to tie it together, buffalo chicken is just sad. I would not order from here again. But cheap. You get what you pay for I guess.

Went here with a friend for lunch. We both ordered from the kids menu so we could save room for Cinnabon! Friendly staff with fast service & reasonable prices.

Good food, but nothing spectacular. It was a nice one time stop while at the Mall of America. Definitely a quick option while shopping or visiting MOA.

Do not go here unless you want to waste your money. The dressing for the salad tasted fermented.. I ordered grilled chicken on the side and this is what came for $3 and it was disgusting... my son didn’t like the sandwich either

This place has really good chicken. And I love the tater tarts but it was a little expensive. I had choice of Popeyes and Chick-fil-A and I would have rather picked them on price alone. If you're not starving and just looking to try something new I would give it a shot though!

Very tasty! A bit slow in service but was also very busy!

I was hoping this was more of a restaurant than food court stand, but oh well. I wish I had listened to my gut and not ordered the 1 sandwich featuring "cheese spread" because as predicted it was gross. It's on the maple bacon, and everything else about the sandwich was good, even a decent amount of bacon (those not cooked to my personal preference of crispy). Bread and cheddar were also good, and luckily I was able to deconstruct the sandwich to eat just the sides without the "spread". If I were to return I'd either get the classic or truffle and ask to add bacon. The Oreo shake was good.
