This place was decorated nicely inside and the staff were very nice. It was quite difficult to find because there is no sign outside. Unfortunately the matcha latte tasted nothing like a matcha. It tasted like peep marshmallows in drink form. Very disappointing. The chai latte was decent but was very clove forward. Honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Overall a good experience. The building was a little hard to find as it was within the Zawadi building, but didn’t have a large scale sign advertising its presence. I only saw a couple of small paper signs/yard signs in the parking lot.

I got the Nomadic Tea with marshmallow - the person working described it as a Somali Chai. It was delicious, but definitely a sweet drink.

The table arrangements were very spaced out and it felt very open which was nice, but does also mean that seating is limited.

Very affordable for a local cafe/coffee shop with today’s prices.

It seemed like they were under a partial remodel, so the number of tables/chairs may expand, and outdoor signage may be added in the future, but that’s just based on assumptions.

Overall, I would recommend!

Was looking for a coffee shop nearby when running errands in Bloomington. GPS took us a little short of the entrance and it looked like they were closed. I called to check and they were open but the entrance is further along, just inside the bigger main entrance to the building. Some signs say Nomadic Cafe, some say Zawadi Cafe, so it's a little confusing for first time visitors. The person on the phone was helpful in directing us and friendly when we arrived. Coffee was OK - latte was nice and hot. We had a raspberry Danish - there were a lot of these available but no real choice of Danishes - there were also muffins available. Cafe was quite empty at the time of our visit so difficult to gauge the atmosphere. Overall, not a bad place to stop for coffee, but a little difficult to find and not a lot of choice of pastries.

The coffee is terrible. The pastries are mediocre. But there is good chess on Saturday mornings, and the Muslim music is beautiful. Unless you have another reason to be there, don't bother.

I travel lots and this was the best tasting iced latte I've had in a long time! Great price too.

First time coming here and I'm blown away. I got a slice of cake and an iced oat milk latte and both were very good! The staff was very friendly and the space was wonderful.

Cute shop with tons of seating options and great ambience. Andrea was super friendly, helpful, and quick. I had an iced white mocha and it was super creamy and delicious! :)

Came here because I googled coffee shops that are open late in Bloomington for my book club. Employees were very nice. Was very clean and everything I ate/drank was tasty. I would come back for sure

I only tried an iced caramel machiato and a guava refresher and everything was very delicious, good potions and the place was quite comfortable and quiet.

Very nice ambience, clean and welcoming. Wide variety of drink options including refreshers for summer, and a few pastries that don't appear to have been made in house. They were out of cold brew at the time, but an iced espresso turned out quite nice. Their matcha is very sweet, without asking for any syrups or sweetener added. I would come back and try their chai. Best part was the two drinks cost $10!

Had a really soggy apple turnover that tasted like it was from a grocery store bakery. Ordered an iced americano and the barista added hot water from the espresso machine to the cup of ice. Wouldn't go back.
