“Honestly, some of the best Beef Ramen I've ordered from anywhere! The noodles were very flavorful outside of the broth, and the broth itself had a very savory and creamy flavor! The beef was seasoned as well, and delicious. Service was quick, and the cashier was kind. It was my first time here, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will 100% be getting the ramen again. I didn't end up sitting here to eat because my partner ordered somewhere else, but it's a cozy little space if you do choose to sit in.“

“As a Japanese person who is born and raised in Japan, this restaurant is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Minnesota. Since I started to live in Minnesota, I had struggled to find good Japanese restaurants that satisfy my tongue. However, this restaurant really changed my life in Minnesota. The food, service, atmosphere, everything is amazing and perfect here. The price is really affordable for broke international students like me. Location is also very good.
I deeply appreciate this restaurant. Without Kinzo udon, I couldn’t survive in Minnesota.“

“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

“Great ramen. Nice atmosphere but the lovely woman working the front made our day. She recognized my daughter was having a rough day and treated her with such kindness, she came around the counter and helped her choose what she wanted and gave her a squeeze. Our food was brought out right away and then Cat I think her name was hugged my crying daughter and whispered something to her and gave the stressed, short fused momma a hug too. Thank you for your kindness and reminder that I needed a little more patience. We will be back on a better day!“

“There is a shelf near the ordering counter that I’m guessing was built for online order pick ups. People tend to take bags that aren’t there’s so it makes sense this store has stopped using it, but it would be extremely helpful to put up a sign above the shelf that says you need to check in at the counter for pick up orders. I’ve never been to this store so I didn’t know I had to, I waited an extremely long time waiting for my order to be placed on the shelf before I overheard someone else walk right up and get their order right away.“

“Sat at the bar to eat and watched the older lady with ponytail eating out of the cooler, and she was so rude to people. She asked someone who walked up “what do you need?” Not “Hello” not “How can I help you?” As if this person was a bother to her….a paying customer…. She obviously hates her job.“

“I had placed a large order (about $600) here for a student group and the system never fully sent it through to the restaurant, however, when I came to pick the order up, the staff and especially the manager were so kind to make the food fresh despite the system error. They were extremely patient and efficient which made the stressful experience so much easier. The food was also delicious.“

“For some reason, when you switch to browser when ordering ahead through google maps, it switches your location from this one to one in Golden Valley. Despite me not noticing this, the people working got my old order cancelled and made me a new order very quickly. Very appreciative of the awesome customer service! Food was just as expected“

“I had a very very pleasant experience at this location.
The young man at the register was helpful, more than most I've seen in quite some time.
I brought my 2 young kids, and we needed things here and there and he had no problem assisting every time.
I did not catch his name but I made sure to let him know how wonderful he was and to keep it up!!
