Shake Shack Mall of America

The place is really clean. The food came out pretty quick. It was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and above expectation. The staff running it were attentive and helped us with refills and the number of other things. This is what you hope to happen when you drop 100 bucks on food for a family of six.

$27.54 for this meal and it was absolutely ridiculous. 😠

Garlic aioli 🧄: only filled halfway in a tiny plastic cup.

French onion soup burger 🧅: bland, with barely any onion flavor.

Parmesan garlic fries 🍟: just regular fries with a sad sprinkle of parmesan.

Mango lemonade with popping raspberry boba 🥭🍋: just okay, but the mango flavor was weak and the amount of boba pearls was laughable.

On top of that, if you want a receipt, you can’t get a simple paper one—you have to hand over your email or phone number for a digital receipt (no thanks, I don’t want spam).

And they falsely advertise that your order will be brought out to your table. In reality, they just leave it up front by the kitchen, and you have to get up and grab it yourself.

For nearly $30, this experience was disappointing across the board.

Stopped by Shake Shack in the Mall of America for a quick lunch. I’ll give them this—the service was impressively fast, and my order came out within minutes even though the food court was buzzing. Unfortunately, the burger didn’t live up to the hype. The patty tasted bland and overcooked, with a dry texture that made the premium price hard to justify. The bun was soft, but the overall flavor just wasn’t there. Fries were fine, but nothing memorable. If you’re in a rush and want something quick with friendly service, it’s a solid option—but for burger quality, there are better spots in the mall.

Ordered food at kiosk and friendly staff brought our food to the table for us. Food was absolutely delicious and fresh, hands down best crinkle fries I've ever eaten (usually crinkles are worst fries ever in my opinion). The Carolina BBQ burger was banging with flavor and juiciness which is all I could ever ask for. Would definitely eat here again at MOA.

Advice to go here during off hours - they opened at 10:30AM and food came out quick and might be a top 3 burger I have ever had. Highly recommend if you are visiting MOA!

Line was too long. People at checkout moving at a snail's pace. Asked me to order online, which did not go through. Frustrating experience, but staff was friendly and apologetic. Went to A&W instead.

I understand that this is a mall, and everything is fast-paced. We had our order messed up, and the burger meat was raw. There was a big line and I decided to not make a hassle to complain, but its still unacceptable. Threw it all away.

I had my worst shake shack meal ever at the moa location, it was so bad, I couldn't forget it. The chicken nuggets were dried, hard, and grease soaked, the fries were meh. I regret not taking the meal back to the counter and demanding a refund.

Burger is top tier fast food smash burger and the crinkle cut fries are nice and crispy.
Shakes weren't that good though. Which surprises me since the name is Shake Shack.

1st time trying shake shack. It was actually good and fast service. The only thing is the price. The meal shown in the picture was close to $20.

Food was pretty righteous, but the girl who brought my food to me chipped out cause I was sat 10 feet outside the entrance cause there was no seating inside

It was nice and quiet and I don’t think there is anything I don’t like about it….says my grandson!! I loved how helpful the cashier was when we asked her questions about ingredients. She went above and beyond and checked the ingredients on the box of the lemonade!! She was kind, and knowledgeable!!!
