This location needs to close I comes to moa all the time and this place barley have any customers there I went today for my son bday and service was good but the chairs are beat up it takes your food along time to come and the staff tries to rip you off for a tip I’m reporting the staff to the business bureau and letting my bank know the staff tried to take more money off my account then what was supposed to been paid to all customers when going to this place make sure y’all are checking your receipts of double charges and suggestions tips my bill was 340 and these staff still tried to double charge me the food is way to expensive especially when it’s not really delicious and this location food comes already precooked so that means processed

The overall milkshakes were very good, but you could tell the toppings for the milkshakes were old and pre-made (frozen). Also, just a tad overpriced, but I'm assuming the up-charge is more for the experience. More of a one time place to go and that's about it. Also, we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. We were the only ones in the place.
UPDATE (1/30/26): 3 days ago a Dana Heather reached out about trying to resolve the issues. After I replied to Dana's email, I never heard back. Changed service down to 1 star.

I'm used to the Sugar Factory in Atlanta (which usually sucks, but has great atmosphere.) This Sugar Factory is all of the bad things about the ATL location (always out of the drink you want, inconsistent drink recipes, OBSCENE prices) without the fun vibe (lights are fully bright, all the time.)

Worth it once, I guess?

It makes for a fun picture, but that’s about it. Probably the most disappointing money I spent all weekend. The quality of the food feels straight out of the freezer/can/box. For the price, go and get something made to order or at least with a little bit of love put into it.

Went in on a Friday evening on a date & had a great experience. They weren’t busy, but I was not complaining. My food: fresh, my drinks: great, service: timely & quick. It’s expensive but I think it was worth it!

It's way better than expected all the food was actually super good. It's expensive but everything's super yummy and photo worthy. Super fun celebration place !

I would have given a 5 but i was there for a birthday celebration which was stated in the reservation but the celebrant wasn't celebrated with a birthday song and desert. After we left I was told we would need to remind the waiters because they sometimes miss the information in the reservation. Other than that, the food was great.

We had a reservation and we were so excited to come in. There were two other tables and two folks at the bar so not busy. I had to ask for a booth even thou our reservation specifically requested one. We waited 14 min for our server to acknowledge us. Then he disappeared for another 15 min before we finally got to put our order in. Our food was good and the drinks/shakes are certainly over the top impressive. The staff seemed to just kind of be standing around not doing much and our server seemed to be much more interested in the two ladies sitting at the bar than the few other tables he had. Overall, it was very disappointing and we likely won't be back to this location. We had a much better experience at the Orlando location a few years ago.

I visited the Sugar Factory at Mall of America and ordered the “melting cheese” burger — the one they bring with a big round block of cheese on top and a metal ring for the “show.” It looks great for Instagram, but the cheese never actually melted. It just stayed as a thick, rubbery cap sitting on the bun, even after the whole presentation.

For the price, I was expecting a lot more: a better-quality burger and real melted cheese, not something that felt more like plastic than food. The fries were fine and the place itself is cute, but the food doesn’t live up to the hype. Overall, it’s very Instagrammable, but if you care about flavor and value, it’s pretty disappointing.

The desserts and the drinks definitely are the reason to come here, the food is good not great, especially for the price points.

Great spot to take kids for a birthday, and the milkshakes/ dry ice drinks etc are all super fun.

Service was pretty poor, the host seemed lost and there were tons of open seats, and the manager and other teammates kind of just stared from the back to see if he’d figure it out. A few people in line behind us left due to this.

Overall we enjoyed the experience due to the flashiness but the nuts and bolts of the operation could use some work.

I had a fantastic experience at Sugar Factory in the Mall of America! The atmosphere was fun and energetic and the food came out quickly and tasted great. Our server, Lina, truly made the visit exceptional. She was incredibly attentive, checked on us often without being intrusive, and made sure everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and fast service really stood out. It’s rare to see someone handle a busy restaurant floor with such ease and friendliness! I’ll definitely be coming back and I’ll be asking for her section, thanks Lina!

Biggest waste of $40 in my entire life. I got a handful of gummy worms and about 4 sips of a “margarita”. It was served over dry ice for their Halloween drink special which completely froze everything and made it nearly impossible to drink. I had to keep pouring water on it just to make enough slush to get this 4 sips I referred to. My waitress aka bartender was however very kind and attentive. She did a great job, and is the only reason why I’m giving 2 instead of 1 stars. The background music was also good. However, buyer beware DO NOT waste your money here.
