Got a to go order of the Swedish pancakes and an avocado lefse breakfast burrito. Pancakes were missing half the toppings, and there was not any avocado in the burrito. The burrito was at least still pretty good, but not the right order.
Excellent flavors, great bakery and really nice staff! The kids and I enjoyed!
Oh my GOSH! This is such a great little spot, great for breakfast and lunch coffee and chatting!!
Ordered a prinsesstårta since my previous go-to store has closed. Pick up was very easy, and the cake looked great (although name was misspelled). Unfortunately the cake didn't live up to expectations. The cake layers were dry, there wasn't enough raspberry jam, and the marzipan was too thick. Would suggest other bakeries for something this complex.
Lefsa was very tasty!
Servers don’t exist here, we left after waiting over 10 minutes
Slow service. Not very busy. She just forgot about our coffee
Top tier food and service
Taste of Scandiniavia is one of the hidden gems in the twin cities. My husband and I absolutely love going here for breakfast dates and take all our out of town visitors there. Great food and great prices. They also have great coffee which is always a bonus. There are a lot of "regulars" that love to chat with the wait staff so it can be a bit slower service if you are there during a busy time. It's worth it though!

I visited Taste of Scandinavia when our men's group met there for breakfast. It is a cut above the average breakfast restaurants (on par with Keys Cafe but not quite at the level of nicer places like The Original Pancake House, Mason Jar, or Fat Nat's). It is located inside the Festival Foods Store in Bloomington, MN. The service was great and the atmosphere was friendly but a bit crowded (there was a line waiting to get in). I ordered the Swedish Sausage Scramble. I would order it again if there weren't other interesting menu items to try. I will likely return to try some of their other offerings.

Imagine your waitress having the emotional maturity of a toddler, asking for a manager, to have her say she's the manager. She doesn't want you to watch her make your drink so she can make it incorrectly. Sound sadistic enough to you?
