“I honestly don’t even think Irma’s Kitchen at Cragun's Resort was officially open yet when I walked in, but they still welcomed me in and served me anyway. To be completely honest, I was expecting average “up north resort bar food.” Then the menu arrived. Steak tartare. A wedge salad with local blue cheese. Thoughtful cocktails. Suddenly I realized this kitchen was aiming at something completely different. I ordered cautiously, still skeptical about what would actually arrive at the table. And let me tell you — they exceeded every expectation I had. I genuinely have not had steak tartare this good in Minnesota since the old Figlio in Uptown. The overall quality honestly felt on par with The Saint Paul Hotel dining. I’m not entirely sure how the kitchen is pulling this off in Brainerd, but whatever they’re doing is magical. This wasn’t just a good surprise — it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time.“

“Mc Donalds is so so here. Hit or miss if its fresh. Mc Ds as A whole is doing everything it can to reduce people interaction. Kiosk to order. people rarely up front on counter. Iv waited for 3 4 min just to talk to someone. Miss old days being greated when I walk in the door. Service is 1 as you get as little interaction as possible here. Not talking the drive thru. Forward alot here. And they always miss thing in drive thru. Chicken nuggets, sauces, a full burger. Had them miss it all one time or another. I really like the interior. Feels clean and open.“

Otherwise, you can still order the old fashioned way- in person, with an actual human; or utilize any of the “self ordering screens” (inside) if you decide to sit down and eat. Plus you can still order using your mobile app account if you scan the QR code before ordering on those kiosks. FYI-They usually have good deals on breakfast.“
