Suddenly I realized this kitchen was aiming at something completely different. I ordered cautiously, still skeptical about what would actually arrive at the table. And let me tell you — they exceeded every expectation I had. I genuinely have not had steak tartare this good in Minnesota since the old Figlio in Uptown. The overall quality honestly felt on par with The Saint Paul Hotel dining. I’m not entirely sure how the kitchen is pulling this off in Brainerd, but whatever they’re doing is magical. This wasn’t just a good surprise — it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time.“
