The Local 218 is an amazing restaurant with awesome cooks and employees. The service is exemplary, and the food is fantastic in a laid-back atmosphere with plenty of seating options. The Local 218 is a nice roomy modern restaurant with a full bar. The chef waited on me and is super personable. The quality of the food is the best in the area. The owners are working to make the best tasting food. Food is very good. Shrimp tacos and the local burger were enjoyed. Truffle fries were yummy, but the best was the key lime pie, delicious! Beef stroganoff and shrimp poor boy are recommended. Wonderful attentive service. Large dining space and nice large center bar. Price is fair. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Save room for key lime pie!!! Fantastic! Try their delicious brownie! The management resolves problems promptly. Overall, it's a great place to celebrate special occasions.
