“My adult son & I checked out Beomead today (6/28/25) for the 1st time & we really enjoyed it! We can't recommend it enough. If you like mead (honey wine) because maybe you have tried it at the MNRF or something & would like to explore more mead that Minnesota has to offer, I would recommend Beomead for sure. It was about an hour+ drive for us from the Twin Cities but it was totally worth it. Their mead is SO good & the prices are very reasonable. Keep in mind this is a small farm meadery using their own honey & berries so essentially farm to glass or horned tankard. LOL! It has a smaller main building that is really only big enough to place your order/get your mead, purchase some snacks & merch but they also have a "long" house/hall were there is seating as well as some outdoor seating. They have a bon fire pit which I am sure would be fun. They have corn hole to play some family games outside & they have Connect 4 & chess in the out building & 9 Men Morris in the main building where you purchase the mead. They sell individual glasses, flights, Jimmy's, 1/2 growlers, growlers, snacks like meat sticks, cheese, jerky, & crackers. Plus! They have MERCH! The owner Matt is super nice & very knowledgeable about his ingredients & process. We also chatted with a few other patrons there as well (shout out to Charles) who were great. We will definitely be going back again! Thank you for a great 1st time!“
