Beomead Reviews
My adult son & I checked out Beomead today (6/28/25) for the 1st time & we really enjoyed it! We can't recommend it enough. If you like mead (honey wine) because maybe you have tried it at the MNRF or something & would like to explore more mead that Minnesota has to offer, I would recommend Beomead for sure. It was about an hour+ drive for us from the Twin Cities but it was totally worth it. Their mead is SO good & the prices are very reasonable. Keep in mind this is a small...read full review
Matt was extremely knowledgeable with all the questions we had about mead and took the time to explain in detail about any questions we had. The mead they make beyond words delicious and all locally sourced and absolutely nothing artificial in the delicious mead. I’m an avid mead drinker and have been to all the other meaderies in the twin cities and we’re glad we found a new resident meadery to come back to time and time again. Thanks again for the delicious mead and can’t...read full review

Beomead is a family owned meadery that offers the best mead the reviewer has ever had. The owner is great and very knowledgeable about the process and ingredients. The place is a small farm meadery using their own honey and berries, so it is farm to glass or horned tankard. The mead is made in house with seasonal fruit and is absolutely delicious. The hall is a long house/hall with plenty of spots to sit, outdoor seating, a bon fire pit, and games such as corn hole, Connect 4, chess, and 9 Men Morris. Snacks include meat sticks, cheese, jerky, and crackers. Individual glasses, flights, Jimmy’s, 1/2 growlers, growlers, and merch are all available. The host is friendly and the people are friendly. A Bachelorette party was a great time and the host gave a description of each mead flavor, hand delivered a bride’s flight, and even gave a knight in shining armor. The place is a must stop on the way through Hinckley or for anyone who likes mead. Prices are very reasonable and the experience is relaxing and fun. It is about an hour+ drive from the Twin Cities but totally worth it. It is a good spot for anyone who likes mead in Minnesota.
