Do not support this buffet! The pho lady behind the counter is rude and very unprofessional. She got mad at my mom because she didn’t ask for clear noodle the way she’s used to and instead of asking again to clarify the noodle she snapped at my mom and told her to “read the sign” up there. When my mom said she didn’t know English she snapped at my mom and told her to go learn English. Smh yall. This is your own Hmong people who be telling my mom to go learn English when she should know the struggle of her loved ones who couldn’t learn because they simply came later to America. English is actually my mom’s 3rd language and even tho she may not know how to read she is way more kinder and patient than their niam ntxawm, (in-law) who be treating people poorly. The owner doesn’t care because it is their in law and she had said that multiple people complained about that pho lady yet she didn’t do anything about it. So do not support this business unless you guy want to be treated poorly by their family because the owners don’t actually act take manners into their own hands. This is how they want to represent the business.

The old lady who works in the back behind the noodles/pho counter. She is very rude and disrespectful person. She acted like she's the owner and do whatever she wants or treat people with no respectful. I hope she got fired soon. She got me mad so many times. There's always somethings for her to say and complain! It makes me not want to go there anymore!

First time at this place. Coming from out of state. Props for my Hmong people for opening up a restaurant, but here is my honest opinion on the place. They were busy at 4 to 5pm. Saturday.Food: Food was near empty and not replenished for a long while. White rice not offered on the buffet tables, you had to ask for it. I picked n chose random dishes they had at dinner... I can't honestly say I enjoyed any of it. Tasted old. You can tell they mixed new food with old.Staff: they do not look happy or pleasant. Did not greet customers. When asked about certain things it was real quick n short. The lady by pho station was not pleasant at all and seemed bothered when asking about selections and asking questions. It was about $20+ a person. There was A LOT OF POSTS THROUGH OUT RESTAURANT: limit of eating buffet to 1.5 hours, 15% charge for wasting food. It was all over the restaurant. It was excessive., but they must have a problem probably.

Service is horrible, atmosphere horrible, managers not holding their employees accountable. The old lady working has an attitude and always lashing out customers for her wrong doings. Managers simply said “she always has an attitude” Isn’t the first time that it happened. Never going back.

Solid buffet with reasonable prices offering Chinese and Hmong fare. Small selection, but they were items I like to eat so no complaints from me. A little dingy, but its a cheap AYCE buffet spot so it's in-par with expectations. It gets pretty busy but staff clears the tables quickly. I need to go back and try the pho bar, but I was on a time crunch so just stuck to the mains and enjoyed the shrimp and pork options.

Food was okay for what you pay. The service was not great, but okay to dismiss. First time here and will probably be coming back...

This place was shady with the ice cream, and the food wasn't good overall. The pickles were sweet, strawberries had no flavor, and what was the point of charging for uneaten food? The jello was incredibly sweet as well. Would not recommend.

Food was okay but customer service was bad. The pho lady was crabby today. First and last time going there.

If I could give zero stars I would, the Hmong lady that gives customers pho, kapoon, etc she is very rude she has no respect towards anyone who she talks to. I don’t think I’ll be coming back if she’s still there. Someone needs to tell that lady something because when she goes talking rude to people she doesn’t think before she talks, she goes on and keeps continuing the disrespect. It’s time for her to retire or something because it looks like she doesn’t enjoy serving food for customers. Not with her type of attitude.

Food was above average, I thought there would be more choices being it's a buffet but I guess not..

All Foods did not have flavor. The nava may have been the only dish that was tasty but it also depends on how you mix it yourself. The lady at the noodle station is not friendly, rude, seemed irritated to be working the station. Don't dare ask her a question, she will snap at you and roll her eyes. Put her in the back or you will lose more customers OR train her to be at least pleasant if she's going to be serving your customers. The host should explain how their process is for first time customers for drinks and noodle station. You are to grab your own drinks. But my group only knew that from observing other customers. Will not return.

Food is fire!!!! A great place for a quick bite. Food taste just like home. I recommend the fried pork belly. They even have hot pepper with fish sauce ? This place has the potential to be the best buffet in the twin cities.

Worst buffet I’ve ever been in. Food cold on the hot buffet. Very limited food selection. No offer of water or drinks while there eating. The food tastes horrible. Don’t waste your time

*UPDATE 02-18-2024*Food is good. I like the food. I wish there was more variety of food tbh. I think it will enlightened up the place more. I love the little water area at Panda Garden. I love that there is tri color, pho, and kaopoon. I like that we refill our own drinks and I have never dealt with any bad services. I’ll continue to come and support Panda Garden. The employees should be more enthusiastic. Always ask for refills (drinks). Always put on music because it is awkward when the buffet, restaurant, or any stores to be dead silent with no music. The food is good, don't get me wrong. Very good and it's a small buffet but it's super cute and the colors in the buffet is very nice and comfortable. I feel like the waitress should always be in front of the customer when finding a table so we know where we are going unless the customer has a specific table they want to go to but still, be in front of the customer because it makes it awkward if you're at the back. Yes, it takes awhile for the food to come out but please continue practicing to bring it out faster! This is the reason why I rated a 3/5.
